From what I have seen, it's the same game. The only major differences is that the Humongous logo and its Junior Sports splash screen have been replaced with the Mega Cat and Playground Productions logos, and the credits removed all Humongous staff for legal reasons. The original Humongous Entertainment still gets credited though, via a special thanks message from Mega Cat and Playground, thanking them for the games they made over the years, and apologized for their unfortunate decision to remove all mentions of them in the credits to avoid a lawsuit of sorts.

nice video, i have tried both, for me, the steam release feels slow, and the cursors bugged completely, i have tried both versions, can say paying 10$ for achievements seemed alright, but the game just feels worse, i played both versions with identical teams, and i was playing awful on steam, but was doing much better on ScummVM, also i do think Scumm is better, as it allows for speeding up the game, and subtitles (which I love subtitles) while the steam version has nothing. it feels kinda like a scam, and compared to how they were hyping it up, it feels super boring, and terrible, definitely think Scumm is better. but nice video, well made, edited, and nice, hopefully you make stuff like this. i'll be subscribing!😃
