Half a track day outing at Blyton park in some nice dry and warm weather. few tweaks made to the car and we found some decent pace as the morning went on. New set of tires needed after this one and onto another circuit to see how we can get the civic working and maybe even throw a door to door race in somewhere all been well...

Round 3 was straight upon us with the double header at Brands Hatch so here is our fastest lap time of the day. We managed to find 0.5 of a second on low boost over our time from Round 2 on high boost which was very encouraging. Round 2 of Time Attack UK was never going to be an easy one with the unpredictable weather but we were lucky for the final with a dry but cold circuit. With Brands Hatch always being a popular one, room on the circuit was at a premium. As you will see we had to lift over the finish line which wasn't ideal but still managed to place us 4th overall in Club 2WD with our fastest lap of the day.

A quick update on where we are at and what we have been up to with the Astra over the last month. With plenty of ups and a fair few downs causing us to be seriously late to the prep game for the coming season - we still have lots to do. Not to mention round one is only 7 days away... but don't count us out yet! We plan to push hard this week to get the Astra ready to race!

Nice vid, also kudos to the red Mk1 Mondeo Saloon towards the end of the vid, can't be many of them left on the road let alone in track spec
Take a wet lap around here with a pinch of salt ATM, that fresh tarmac is showing high levels of grip on the racing line still so the normal line is still the quickest, id deffo try get somewhere else in the wet to get a feel for real world grip on a wet track when the standard dry line is highly polished. But she goes and handles well either way 👌👌
