My biggest fear is I have no clue what to do for work if I lived in Japan. I’m American and can’t even figure out what to do in my own country as an unemployed person seeking work. Many people say English teacher but for the long term that isn’t realistic. Do I need a specialization? What can people do in Japan who want to raise a family in Japan but aren’t specialists with a degree?

Basically if you want to sell, buy the boxes first day and sell it asap at 10% cheaper, because the following week it will drop like 50%. Sanji went from 280$ to 40$ in a week 😭

Yeah, hitting the chase card you’re trying to pull can sometimes be in your first box., last box or you may NEVER actually pull your chase card. 🫤 it’s really just RNG. Cool take on your every few years about the Booster boxes in Japan. Kind of crazy how tides are shifting even for Japanese product. The literal Mecca of Pokémon… I’m hoping it leads into a better direction.

This is so true, I remember even during all the hype, Jet Black and Silver Lance were still so cheap for so long, Towering Perfection too. Blue Sky just disappeared 😅 The way I see it is: as a collector open as much as we can whilst its super cheap 😍 and pick up older singles too

Cards will definitely see a reduction in price when grading in japan picks up

Definitely believe some heavily printed cards will see a correction in PSA price due to this. However, some less printed, more desirable Japanese cards will gain more rarity and value if none are being graded up. It’ll confirm for people their prestige and lack of availability, making them even more exclusive/sought after. Definitely believe it will go both ways though, great topic.
