I've always liked this one. I think humans became aware of the existence of vampires and lycans because Alexander Corvinus, the first immortal, who'd spent centuries cleaning up the mess the Vampire-Lycan war left behind, which insured the exitance of both species was kept unknown to humans, but with him dying in Evolution, no longer able to cover it up anymore, it eventually led to their exposure to humanity.

Cool timing for you watching this movie. I just last weekend found a hour and a half documentary here on UA-cam about the 1991 Halloween gale, and this movie does a great job of accurately portraying the power of the storm and the stories of the survivors from the small sailboat and the Coast Guard helicopter crew. The news footage shown in the movie is the actual tv news footage that aired in 1991. The filmmakers really did a great job keeping it as accurate and authentic as they could, considering we have no way of knowing what really happened in the final moments of the Andrea Gail and her crew.

Yeah i feel bad for the cat lady she was just happy chilling with her fur babies and she was a badass you can tell she didn't take shit, great movie with an unsettling and memorable ending, can you watch Joy Ride? Another classic from 2001.

This film is beyond a doubt absolutely brilliant and can be summed up in a single sentence. TRUTH CAN BE STRANGER THAN FICTION.

Not quite sure that the Crown Prince's understanding of the English language is all that it's cracked up to be. He says to her to make sure that she's ready for to go to Budapest in the morning, at which point the Duchess Von Techen says Goodbye. Dopey Crown Prince Leopold then asks, what do you mean by Goodbye?🤪😳 For Goodness sake!, what does the word Goodbye usually mean to you? Idiot.

I love how in their carriage ride, Edward is very careful not to assume anything and leaves it to Sophie to try and prove him wrong. In otherwords, he's being shrewd, and keeping his cards close to his chest - waiting for the right time to let her know that he still loves her very much.

You can tell quite early on that there's a distinct dislike between Eisenheim and the Crown Prince. As Leopold goes to leave the theatre with Sophie he talks about making him disappear.

It's the same old story, buddy - most children or people don't really like anyone who is a bit different especially if they can't really understand why. And school children are particularly cruel and outspoken when it comes to this sort of thing. The fact that they are aristocrats in this movie just means that they are all the more likely to speak their minds and flaunt their ignorance/arrogance - basically equates to throwing their toys out of the pram or as you quite rightly put it behaving like Juvenile Delinquents.😉👍🤝

26:29-26:40 What you have to remember is that in the first movie the only ones researching anti-Lycan weaponry were the Death Dealers. When humanity learned of the Lycans existence, there would have been a lot of research by a lot of talented people. Plus it's been 12 years since the first movie. Weapons technology can improve greatly in that time

the movie is symbolic. The signs for example, not just crop circles, but the signs of God working in his life. The water represents cleansing of evil and fear. The Bible uses water to give rebirth and renewing, Living Water who when drank of, will never leave a follower of Jesus thirsty ever again. You notice when he had faith in the signs of his life and began to "see" as his wife told him (also a biblical concept, like beginning to hear) then he gained confidence again and the alien represented evil. His brother then was faced with having to deal with evil on his own as the family moved on, and he in the house which represents their life had to deal with his fears of failure on his own. When the wife is dying and she says "Tell graham to see " etc, its like God told her to tell him, because he was right there , he said "im here" thinking she was losing her mind but we know that none of it was coincidence, she was relaying the message God gave her to him " tell him to see" because God knew he would lose his faith and God already had the plan to restore it. -This is why it seems silly as a weakness , but when you accept the symbolic nature, its very powerful. To see his brother swing using water to defeat evil, to use his faith in God to save his life, very beautiful.

The guy that played older Benny is his real life older brother.

In the old days you couldn't go to prom if you didn't have a date. It was that way in my school. Part of changing that was when a lawsuit was filed by a teen gay couple for not being able to attend prom. The law couldn't protect the gay couple, because gays aren't a protected status in that way, but the school boards began to change policies about proms in general, including not being able to attend if you didn't have a date.

I've missed a flight by 2 minutes. 2 minutes! I would rather miss a flight by hours than by mere minutes. Watching them close that door as you're approaching is a horrible feeling because you know there's nothing you can do about it at that point lol.
