It made no sense. Them speaking in shakespearian dialogue also had me like what the hell is this I'm watching? I hope this was $120 million of his own money he used to make this. Otherwise, it would be criminal for any studio to have forked over a dime to make this. It's like could he make a worse movie? Are you trying your best for making the worst flop? Like what is this? Directors revenge? Get even with the studio for all the movies they didn't let you make, by taking their money, make the worst flop in history, bankrupting them, then watching as the bank auctions off the entire lot? I mean, I know the plan is for the revenge to be served cold, but damn. Because how the hell else can you explain this movie so that anything in it makes sense?

There's something mesmerizing about this movie. It has issues but it definitely left an impression on me that makes me want to re-watch certain scenes. Idk. There are a lot of interesting visuals and unexplained scenes that leaves me wanting more. Not a bad movie by any means.

The movie isn't as bad as I thought it was gonna be. Was surprised to see Grylla as the main villain, as Krampus always seems to be the go to for this kind of story. JK Simmons was easily the best part of the whole movie though.

SPOILERS: Hear me out, Denzel's character should've been portrayed by someone else who wouldn't steal the light from Paul Mescal and then have the film focus entirely on the revenge plot line. Develop Lucius as a great fighter, leader, but angry son who seeks to punish Pedro and his mother. Denzel should've been like Varus or Littlefinger (GOT), on the sidelines plotting his insurrection - instead, he's made into a prominent figure that takes up time from developing Lucius. By focusing on the revenge plotline, Lucius's beliefs are slowly broken down but he's too angry to listen to reason. So...as he makes his way to Pedro Pascal, before killing him, he learns/embraces the truth and spares him - only for Denzel to push the Twins into killing Pedro. BLACKOUT. Simplifying the movie into a revenge film would've developed Paul Mescal's, Lucius, and made a more believable arc with his character by the end of this film. The 3rd installment would be him embracing his father's dream, taking back Rome, and living onward to remember his father, mother, and, most importantly, his wife.

I thought there WAS a through-theme. Trump's ...appetites... his appetite for success (which Cohn helped him achieve). His appetite for success and status.... to show his dad he WAS a "killer" - and even a BETTER one than his dad. Along with his other appetites.... for deal-making and playing the game like a gambler who can't step away fromthe table.... his appetite to be envied, for 'pep-pills' and cheese balls 😏 They all seemed to point at a personality for whom 'moderation' was a dirty word. The common thread - at least in the movie Trump's life was "More". While I won't mistake it for a documentary, it was a very interesting character study. The two leads were phenomenal. I think even Trump FANS would be surprised at how much they would like this movie (with a couple of major exceptions that would make them go ballistic! If you saw the film, you can already guess what I'm talking about. I'm glad I saw it. I hope others will too.

You are definitely just stupid. And it won't take a couple of months. Here I am. It's different. It's offbeat. It's most definitely unconventional in its presentation and delivery. It possesses supreme visuals. Some call it a mess and say it's unbalanced. It is, in fact, a beautiful mess and is perfectly unbalanced. It's a Francis Ford Coppola masterpiece.

Giving a protagonist a super power that he never uses in any plot-relevant way is possibly the worst misstep in film history.

Main stream media is far left. The "facr" checkers on social media are far left. The platforms themselves are far left (that includes youtube). Since far left ideology is forced upon us I say even if something is considered far right watch or listen to it anyway.
