Can we please change the title to "Sikh Princess"? She was not Indian. Kapurthala was a state of Sikh Empire (Punjab). Punjab was annexed 102 years later after british annexed rest of India. Punjab was a separate country. Please don't trample upon identities of minority communities like Sikhs, we are already facing existential threat under present Modi/Congress Indian regime of 2023.
George Isaacs was a member of the Labour Government in 1948, Minister for Labour and National Service. Reported in Hansard his response to the arrival of Windrush was as follows. "I don't know who sent these men ... it is bound to result in difficulties ... we can give no assurances that they can be found suitable work. I hope no encouragement will be given to others to follow".
Never needed or wanted, we're still luving with the consequences of this idiot spur of the moment decision. In the form of rampart drug and gang crime. They came to help rebuild Britain? I think not.
This video has been posted on Twitter and is being used to attack the wind rush folk , facts say they were invited , what are you saying they weren’t ?
Are you saying wind rush weren’t invited ?
Although themselves and mainstream media imply they were invited this was never the case. If they were to tell the truth they would say we were not invited not wanted not needed but we went anyway and that’s the truth
Yes. It's a myth.
Time for action we all know the score were still hear lets build a great legacy and triumph over all the odds ..we can do it we must do it or we will perish like butter against sun forward ever backward never..
Congratulations. Presentation of the Windrush generation with rigorous facts is necessary since tolerance and racism are alive and kicking.
Fascinating.
Quite
14th letter of the Alphabet month.

I've been across to this Gurdwara many times from Essex on the Tilbury ferry. It really is an impressive building and a welcoming place, Sikhs are both friendly and curious as to how you see their religion/way of life. Go visit if you have the chance.
'Rathenrae', Penn, Buckinghamshire ~ correct spelling. The house is not called that now but it would be lovely to name it back to 'Rathenrae'.
Good job done..
Next time I’m in gravesend I will pop in here for a visit
👍🏽
Wohhhhhh beautiful Sikh remberance
Sikhs are most generous, hard working, honest, caring and sharing and warrior people, what a beautiful religion. You are respected
A Nice Video.
Thank you for this episode. Compost making is so satisfying...egetable and organic matter converted to matter in which we can grow food!
Ram ram ji from India
Ram ram not allowed in Sikhism
@@magicmusic2077 more than 5000 times Ram name is written in Guru Bani
@@b0xgamingstudio790 he meant the greeting "ram ram." Dumb ass.
@@anonnyy3020 What, not alowed ? Whatever way you greet is ok !
@@magicmusic2077 That man is showing respect, If he says Ram Ram or blessings or sapsakal or salemaleikum its alowed to greet. Nothing wrong with it.
Sikhs have been hardworking and dedicated to providing help and support to all. Especially when you can have a hot meal in the guru Ka langgar in any Gurdwara.
Well done working together peacefully 👍👋🙏🌹💖
Where is gravesham?
Kent in England. The town is called Gravesend.

If your ever in Gravesend you can always go in the Sikh temple and have a nice veggie curry for free.Lovely friendly people.👍👍
Sikh care for the needed, Don't forget to donate as you can support them to do. Sikhs are humans so there are bad Sikhs also. 🙂
Wonderful!
Wonderful!
Wonderful!
I was surprised to see a statue of Pocahontas in the U.K.
I believe she is buried in Gravesend.
It's a decent video but let's not fall into a diversity and integration trap where u start diluting ur own faith and beliefs and lose ur roots to keep others happy. We do integrate , we do open our doors to all but we also do not lose our identity to political correctness as many so called open minded liberals wud like us to
Well said
