Racing sailboats on long Island sound

Lots to eat and drink. A little sailing, a lot of anchoring, a little swimming and absolutely no swinging on the halyard. Too much pizza.

Disguising an evening sailboat race as an evening sail We sail on our new rule for these end of season races. We don't expect to win because we're using a tiny chute so we drop out in time for a great Mexican dinner.

Yacht racing in light winds into darkness We tried Code zero chute with furling jib. They got tangled at first so we switched halyards to solve the problem. A slow race but it goes fast. You'll see.

You don't need a beach to enjoy the ocean.

Going out to race on Long Island Sound on a windless afternoon. But we still celebrated with Banquet Beer and motored in for beer can chicken. Always open the beer can before you shove it in the kitchen.
