I know it isn't, but I like to think of this series as a sort of sequel to the 1990's version. Moomin's a bit older, he's learning how to navigate life as a teen, wanting to be treated as a capable adult. I mean, heck, I remember being a bit like that when I was a teenager.

I saw! They actually got all of the "umjammer lammy now!" Footage too which consists of the extras section in this video. That was years in the making because of covid. Hopefully soon they will rip the game from the system too because the machine is starting to break

something I’ve always liked with moomin, both the 90’s and this one, is that they let the characters be flawed and make mistakes, and take accountability. There aren’t these obnoxious obvious “lessons” like in many kids shows, even less so in the 90’s one, it shows very genuine characters I think :)
