I think they might be concerned because Tyler is a hard surface and they might be worried about someone falling on the stairs and having sharp edges but you can avoid that by using a round edge schluter trim in front of each step to give you a bit of a bullnose look? Hope that helps. We have install wood look tile on stairs and has been 2-3 years and didn't get a call back from the customer or anything, he had pets that's why he wanted to go with the wood look tiles

this product is very good, doesn't have the characteristics of other more high end products but is very durable, good for rental properties, and the floors we install were installed in an actual rental property

I can understand why the tiles look like 24x24 because they do and there are similar tiles out there that look very similar but at minute 6:13 as an example you can see there are 3 pieces of tile installed on the floor and the approximate size of the room is about 15'x15'

Thanks for you comment. Have you installed the product yet? There are a few things that can make one better VS the other, in our experience customers who select Vinyl plank is because they want to install that type of flooring in the main living areas but also want to install it in bathrooms and laundry rooms and or if they have large pets or multiple small pets. Laminate floors are selected for the ease of cleaning and because some laminates do resemble a bit more the look of real wood. what made you decide on vinyl plank? By the way 20Mil vinyl plank is very durable

Hi Ron, thanks for your comment, great question. Yes we would have recommended the use of RedGard. In most of our projects we highly recommend applying RedGard prior to installing any type of tile no matter the size

Hi, thanks for your comment. I know it can be hard to decide in some cases on which floor to go with, so many good options out there. LVP can be install in from of fireplace but depends how well protected the fireplace is, is it a gas fireplace, wood or electric? Also keep in mind some home inspection laws at time of selling the home might require to have a hard surface in front of your fireplace such as tile flooring before selling the home and that is where tile might be the winner

Our images are taken in the real world, most of them are in natural light and some are taken with light on and some were taken with lights off or in low light

It is a very heavy machine no doubt about it, is your homes second floor concrete? If so it's going to need about 3 people to get it up there but if not the best machine would be a 7" grinder. What are you trying to remove?

@@JulianFlooring thank you for reaching out to me. I appreciate it! My second story condo has a type of composite concrete. I believe it's either a fire barrier or sound proof floor. I want to remove some of the shallow groves. I also want to smooth out the concrete patch used to fill in the holes left by carpet tack strips. I'm going to paint this floor and my goal is to purchase throw rugs to cover some of the living areas. Thanks!

One of the main concerns from our customers is exactly what you are wondering but since we do a lot of the polished porcelain tiles we are able to take our new customer where we've done previous jobs using the same polished tiles and realized is not slippery as it looks and in some cases engineered floors or laminate floors are more slippery than this tile and best of all it looks so elegant

I don't want to give false impressions about the product, the floors are honestly not slippery when walking with shoes, socks or barefoot, however if let's say a glass of water is unattended and spills on the floor and no one wipes it then yes it can be slippery but if you splash a few water droplets on the floor you would be okay. We have install similar products where we know for a fact there were children of 3 and 5 years of age and at least we didn't hear any negative feedback in fact still getting referrals from some of those customer. Even after we install the floors the customers are always skeptical and they find it shocking that it's not slippery even though the tiles look very glossy
