BRILLIANT MODEL '' Reminds me of the 70s early 80s 👌

I keep returning to this video, it looks amazing! I've built a class 432 and would love to fit it with sound, I just wanted to ask what sound chip you used as it sounds great?

Marvellous... the only time I have seen this Class reproduced. I grew up on these in the 70s and 80s from Bishops Stortford to Liverpool Street in both all BR Blue and later BR Blue/grey. What sound chip is used for this model, as it sounds very accurate to my nostalgic memory?

Very nice and remember these entering service on the Bed-Pan services. 👍 Seem to recall the bottom-hinged vents above the passenger sidelights on (some?) units being aluminim rather that glazed which always appeared to look strange. .

In 1995/96 I travelled weekly from Clapham to Winchester and return, on these trains, and was totally in love with them, the solidest, smoothest, most comfortable rides I can remeber on any British trains - seats were comfortable too. What a shame they had to go surely they had more years in them - they were built like tanks. The Hitachi trains are like sardine cans in comparison! They also give an awful ride - on the GWR anyway.

The radius of that track is too small for a OO-Gauge model train, in fact it's probably too small even for a N-Gauge.

This is a fantastic model. I've been wanting a class 302 and 304 for years. Had a look at your website and now have a bad case of the wants. A lot for me to save up, but I'm going to have to give it a go. The LTS was my local railway for years, my Dad being a signalman at Purfleet and Tilbury East (and later Upminster East) in the 70s and early 80s. I used to regularly go to work with him as a kid and got to drive a 302 one day on the Upminster/Grays branch. Came about for this then 11 year because my temporary job was to hand over and collect the branch token and one Saturday I got asked if I wanted to drive the train to Grays and back. Yes please! So I have a big soft spot for the 302s (love the 304s too) and I now want a layout with them as the stars of the show.

Really does look the part!👍 Recall boarding unit 002 en-route on its delivery trip from Derby to Bournemouth only to find a crew on board working hard bolting all the passenger seats in place. 😄 It was quite sad recording the weekly 5 WES withdrawals onto BloodandandCustard. 😢

Looks absolutely super - well done! 👍 DC kits used to produce a now-sought after 3D although seem to recall there were width compromises (to save on moulding cost) at cantrail level (should be 8'3" over gutters) and the for the four 1st class (6' 11" wide) compartments the doors were spaced as second 2nd class (6' 3 1/8" wide) compartments leading to the WC being wider than 3' 6 1/8". 🤔
