98-99 Was the version of 7 bolts that wasn't prone to crank walk but with me I just 6 bolt swap everything 😂. But if you buy a 1g 7 bolt engine, they can hold up very well. I had a 97 Talon FWD Auto, swapped a 1g 7 Bolt and held up good, no issues.

Yes but also you need a new brake hose. So you use a 2g front brake hose that's a banjo bolt and your good 👍🏻

Yeah so if I add 15% because the car is auto I should be at 445hp and 464tq not including the resistance of the Mustang Dyno. Car is definitely in the 4 bill ball park.

@@ttpgarage id like to donate some info to your findings too, i have a ACL orbit front cover/oil pump combo, i checked the front cover is also a drill hole and looks like my "90 6 bolt front case is too, so i just might have to do the mod you showed on them. i do have a 92 dsm 6 bolt one of the last 6 bolts made, i already assembled it but i suppose ill check that one if it leaks on me.

I never had that issue, I've used 5 lug DSM hubs to Hyundai Sonata hubs and recently used on my buddy's car 95-02 mirage hubs which fits perfect. Only issue is lug pattern, 4x100 on the mirage hubs where hyundai has 4x114. I have a 89 Mirage Turbo GT hatchback with the 95-02 mirage hubs (which fits perfect) and to solve the wheels problem I bought wheels that have universal 4 lug pattern so rears stood 4x114 and fronts are 4x100, easy fix.

Where do you get the inner brake shoes for your 89 mirage get. My Hyundai has the rear brakes of a mirage get but I don’t have an e brake which sucks. Have to leave it in gear, will you be going to the dsm shootout this year?

@@gardo2492 89 mirage I'm pretty sure does have inner shoes for Ebrake, it uses the caliper itself which is spring loaded that pushes the caliper piston. Back then mitsu wasn't that advanced, lol.😂 Unfortunately no, my daughter has special needs since birth so I don't wanna be 11 hours away if God forbid something happens while I'm gone. She make 1 years old this month, hopefully next year I'll feel more comfortable going knowing she will be ok. Time will tell. You can DM directly to FB Thomas DaSilva

Sounds weird but trust me on this, get 97-01 mirage hubs which they make aftermarket for. It bolts right on the hyundai but the lug pattern is 4 x 100. Which is a good thing because you can use 13 inch wheels and slicks from a honda the stock mirage hubs will clear for 13s. I have a 89 mirage gt with the same hubs, works great

Watch this video, this was my old hyundai, it will show you all the parts I put in it. Also in order for the engine to fit, you gotta make a notch where the crank pulley and the belts go on driver's side if not engine won't fit.
