Such a beautiful song and some amazingly written. The imagery here is so human and genuine.
One of the best songs ever written. From one of the best vocalists, in my opinion. What an absolute gem of a storyteller Jammerson is.

Growing up from the same area and generation, this song hits Home. We all had our road running, 850 Strip, Party pad, Squirrel Festivals, visiting Grandma Williams on the Coal Town hill, Marlow's, Landmark, Dandy's Borderline. We had some great times then, but as we mature we realized that sitting on top of a Mountain by yourself is more relaxing than running the roads. Soul Music and Arts Nature. Our running grounds got so divided and out of hand so quick. We've lost a lot of Great friends and family. We all are one big Family here and we need to pull this area up and help these Children. That's the only Future that matters.
This area has a lot of great stories that need to be told. Our Ancestors left us with the knowledge to tell the stories for them. If these Mountains could talk, wait they do. They have so much history left in them to be told. Our Roots

@@cameronhobbs2142 Johnny O played every sport at Prestonsburg High School and he played them well. He was just one of those naturally talented athletes who could probably watch a sport he'd never seen before for 5 or 10 minutes then jump in and play like he'd been playing it his whole life.
