Thank you for putting this tribute together. I didn't appreciate how beautiful Tony's voice was when I was growing up. I just liked Hi-Five's catchy songs. As an adult, I now realize that Tony had rare and immense talent. I mourn the fact that the world will no longer hear his voice. I grieve the fact that he was in so much pain. I can't imagine the struggles he endured being in the entertainment industry at such a young age and doing nearly all of the heavy lifting (the singing) for Hi-Five. He deserved more recognition and compensation. I get upset thinking about how he tried to revive the group, and the other members (who could not sing) blocked him from doing so in the courts, only to go on and perform as Hi-Five after he passed. As far as I'm concerned, Tony was Hi-Five. I wish he could've hung on longer and experienced the recent 90s renaissance. I'm sure then he would have seen how many people appreciated him. I hope he had people in his life who valued him not only for his voice but also for his humanity. God rest his soul. God bless his son, Tevin, and grandson, Tony.

Great tribute! I'm thankful I had the opportunity to meet Tony. So down to earth, personable, and friendly. I still can't believe he was sitting in my car and I was driving Tony around in Fayetteville. It was an awesome day to remember. RIP
