This girl I worked with was mad about the new schedule (so we could all pick up our kids on time) so told our boss that is was discrimination because she didn't have kids. So our boss said fair enough we will do it off who has been here the longest and she was the last hired 😂 I had seniority but I didn't complain

This is me. Working my ass off, exceeding, getting praised for a great job but then ALWAYS being ignored for promotion.

I was told by a co-worker that i should work Christmas because i "didn't have a family". I had worked the Christmas before and she never did it. I let her know exactly what I thought of that! I come from a big family and we are all very close. I just happen not to have children.

I had a few coworkers and even a manager do this to me. I told them I will not be showing up. I gave them 6 months in advance and even more unless it was doctors visits. Every time, I never showed up lmao. They knew not to expect me when I ran the entire store for $7.50 an hour.

Oh felt-- When I needed to take my mom to a doctor once, one mominator at my old job was on my ass about a shift switch coz it was her kids school event. A) I am also doing family related stuff and my disabled mom needs me. B) I know I'm 30, but I know the school your brat goes to and what event is mid september - BITCH it happens every year on the 3 monday of September and your kid has been in that school for 3 years! If he was a first grader, I get it, but if you can't remember a yearly event you are told of weeks in advance before september first coz the class pools money for it, it's on you babe!
