Player in the gray shirt (Luke?): Dropping your shoulder and twisting the cue to the side doesn't make your ball cut any when you shoot. It just makes you miss and gives you a bad stroke.

Still hit the 8 ball before the rail, why cue ball almost scratched in the side. If the cue ball hits rail first it would come more or less straight down the table (Tangent line to 8 ball)

Yeahhhhhh, i don't know about this one. If you hit it at the wrong angle or to hard aiming at the rail you still miss. I think the better tip is to hit it softly straight in. That way you have a small margin for error to both the left AND right. Your way you can only miss to the right. I guess it's all preference. Regardless, I appreciate the video.

13:32 Gotta keep that elbow in line!! Sticking it out and bringing the hand way over in front of the body is what's causing the cue ball to veer off and only get a light hit on the head ball (and what caused the scratch here)

Is Chris just new to the league? He seems to have a decent understanding of play, just speed control and playing the right English off some. I was new to league but not to play and stayed at SL4 for an entire session for some reason, altho I had a 90% win rate.
