You need to select "add new display " Then select "push button" Then use this string to initiate a burn 30 29 06 01 01 Never do a burn unless it's up near 100%

Hi Neil I got my kit today. Did you install the top scupper vent?
I sealed the roof scupper vent closed. I have an extra solar panel over it anyway.
I meant the scupper that comes with the DS kit. I was looking at the vent up top on the driver’s side but it is way bigger than that.

Ive been down a lot of dusty dirt roads, used the fan and had no dust inside, so yes I'm happy with the unit.

Hi Bill My fridge already has a slot, about 20mm under the fridge door. Then I cut a slot in the panel between fridge and top cupboard and I put a plastic grille from Bunnings in. I'm sure the kit came with a much nicer linear grille, mine is probably at home.... One thing I had trouble with is the paper filters. They restrict the fan too much and then you don't get much pressure. I managed to get a K&n hi flow filter (these are reusable, I wash the filter out with degreaser and buy the spray K&n filter oil) I have some pics but it won't let me post them here.

nice van, Always assist the awning by hand when near fully extended when coming our and going in. You can hear it's not happy when coming in.

Fantastic. That's where I thought I'd put mine. I've ordered the DRS, and it's on its way. 👏👏👏 I've been Googling for a vent that would fit that space without much luck. I might have to put in 3 or 4 smaller round ones 🤔❓️❓️
My kit came with a linear grille, I just had to cut a slot for it

I got my vent from Bunnings, in the air conditioning section, vent measures 450mm long x 90mm high
Can it clear the dpf light?
@@philtowle4683 it can clear fault codes, the dpf light usually comes on when it's doing a regeneration and light goes off when regen is finished.
@NeilF4x4Crusading I have the light on and the car has so little power it's undrivable. I have cleaned the dpf off the car but can't get any values from the dpf from torque. Will it regen sat running with the warm up button depressed?

Where did you put the internal vent for the dust pressure system?
I put the vent in the panel above the fridge , just under the cupboard doors

How has the Intercooler hose now Neil?
Been all good since I cleaned the hose and pipe with alcohol, then used loctite 222 and new clamps, holding up to 16psi boost and hasn't come off so I'm happy

It was definitely the open back door and yes you are correct, traction control should be turned off on the sand

From youe videos it looks like you had an 80 series in the past, how does the Fortuner compare
I sure did have an 80 series, it was twin locked, 35" tyres, big lift, awesome vehicle The Fortuner is a totally different car, the difference is chalk and cheese The 80 series almost would go anywhere, with my setup it was a great rock crawler but bit of a handfull on the road and very thirsty on fuel (manual gearbox & 4500 petrol motor) The Fortuner does pretty good off road, it is twin locked but doesn't have the big tyres or ground clearance of the 80 series On road the Fortuner is a pleasure to drive, so much smoother and quieter, and the torque of the diesel is amazing (I have had a tune, see vid #0054)

What was transmission temp on beach Neil? Did you have transmission locked?
Yes, I used low speed lock up with the Richards lock up kit so was locked up in 2nd and 3rd high range, trans temp only around 65 deg

Good posts on youtube, (Touring Western Australia: Kalgoorlie, Bromus Dam, Lake King, Ravensthorpe) keep them going. I was interested in what you posted regarding the issue with not getting the right amount of charge from the redarc, did you resolve the issue? I am just about to sign off the plans for a Gladiator and having the Redarc 50amp installed as well. Cheers
From what I've worked out the 50amp redarc charger is a stand alone charger and does NOT go through the BMPRO system (that's how crusader wired mine). So this means the BMPRO doesn't know the redarc is charging the batteries so in my opinion the BMPRO battery display cannot ever be correct. When I plugged the car in it did not even show up on the BMPRO display, maybe check this before you drive away as there is no way to know if the car is charging (unless you can find where they hide the redarc and check if the charging light is on) In the end I took out the BMPRO shunt and installed a Victron shunt and wired everything including the redarc charger through the shunt, now i can see the redarc charging and I can see the actual battery soc. Not sure how I will go if I have any warranty issues but for now I'm happy with how it's working. Hope this helps you
Wire the redarc directly to the batteries it monitors the charge itself, put a redarc solenoid on the charge cable so it disconnects from the vehicle battery so it won't discharge it. Good luck and Happy travels 😊
Can my Ford au forte tow it.?
There are a lot of variables so unfortunately I can't give you a definitive answer. Suggest you check the towing capacity of the ford and also check tow ball weight allowance, rear axle loading, cars GVM and overall GCM are just a few of the things to check and watch out for.

I'm happy enough with the rhino legs although I think the backbone sits lower to the roof and looks neater.
Hi, I have a Kia Sportage 2.0 185 PS diesel 2016, how can I see when it regenerates the DPF?
Sorry I don't know much about the Kia. If it has a dpf and it regenerates like Toyota the easiest way to know when it's happening is to monitor your fuel economy as you are driving, during a regeneration a Toyota will use a lot more and this can be seen in the real time fuel economy display.

Good pickup I got a plastic adaptor from Amazon that the dish keg clicks into Then I got a stainless steel table leg from Bunnings, about $8, and the adaptor fitted in perfectly Then I pop riveted the adaptor into the table leg, then pop riveted the table leg onto the bull float pole Quick spray with some black plastic dip
Could you please tell me more about the pole?
The pole is from Bunnings, it's a bull float handle, comes in green colour, around $80. At Bunnings usually in the power tools section.

So far it's holding Used a nail file to rough up the plastic tube a bit, then used alcohol to clean pipe and tube, and used loctite 222 on the pipe with 2 x std hose clamps on each end, so far it's holding 🤞

That's exactly what I'm doing, drive in s4 with torque converter locked up at around 90kph, this is where engine and trans seem happiest
