Windows 11 23H2 ISCSI Boot
This video is a demonstration of Windows 11 23H2 booting up from an ISCSI target SAN. The ISCSI target SAN is XigmaNAS. Windows 11 is installed onto the ISCSI target and then is booted from the target. This setup mainly works on newer computer where Windows 11 is supported. 1gbps network performance could work but is recommended 10gbps. My setup goes through a back to back G.fast modem setup which isn't ideal. Wifi is not a recommendation. Windows 11 23H2 can be updated as normal and not be broken upon next next reboot. No third party tools installed for this to work.

This is an example of a computer booting from ISCSI from Xigmanas ISCSI target server. This operating system chosen for diskless booting is Ubuntu 22.04.4. PXE is used first then goes to IPXE where a script is downloaded from TFTP server to boot up to ISCSI target. The Video above shows how it works.

My guess is that the h.265/HEVC support in this box is aimed more at European markets like Germany and the Netherlands who are using DVB-T2 with 8-bit h.265/HEVC for 1080p50 broadcasts (they migrated from DVB-T 567i25 MPEG2 to DVB-T2 1080p50 h.265 over the last couple of years). That would explain the lack of 10-bit HDR, and the lack of 2160p50 support (I suspect 2160p30 and below support is a 'bonus'). Is any broadcaster actually running a full-time, regular, 2160p50 h.265 service anywhere? (There are test muxes in Paris, the BBC ran a test mux in 2014 etc.)

My ISP gives me a modem in which they disable the Bridge mode. So my home devices are behind double NAT. On the modem WAN i have private IP 100.x.x.x. I would like to be able to access my home devices from another internet outside my lan (from my cell phone 4G internet for example) Can HOLE PUNCHING solve this NAT ISSUE so i have access to my devices? If so can you please advise me what should i do? TNX!
