July 2024, RC2 controller and it didn't work for me. I don't know if DJI removed this feature in an update or something, but it's clearly DJI wanting to screw over consumers, because the same cable setup works fine on my Samsung S24 Ultra. What a bummer with DJI, the funny thing is that they don't let you, but they don't offer you a product that solves the problem either.

Can you also explain to us please how you mounted the RC 2 and iPad on the tripod?

@UKDroneGeek Not many know this. I had a 6 in one USC C to HDMI, DisplayPort and USB converter that I use to connect my laptop/ZFold4 to monitor. It worked out-of-box. Very grateful for this video. If you can do this, why is dji not supporting this with Goggles 3. The display on RC 2 goes off when using Goggles 3.

You mentioned the RC2 and the RC Pro (which has a mini HDMI out), but it would not work on a regular RC that comes with the Mini 3, correct? I was hoping to find a solution to stream video via an HDMI transmitter, but it appears the regular RC does not provide any video signal you could capture from the HOST port. Thanks for sharing.

hi body! Great video. this is what I wanted to do, but whith a dji raveneye. Didn`t work. I bought a usb c to hdmi female adapter 4k 60hz in ali express. I tested it connecting it to a mobile phone with usb c, and it worked. but when i conect it to the rc2 usb c, dont get any signal.
