Definitely don't wing it! Couldn't agree more Jason. Confidence comes from experience and is learned. The more you do it, the easier it becomes. I actually run in place for 5-10 seconds before going on stage (Usually behind the curtain, hallway or in a breakout room) This also helps me warm up if I do a handstand walk on stage. Great points as always Jason.

Although I didn't see this comment in time, I hope things went well for you. Regardless of the outcome, it's awesome that you went for it. That's really excellent. As I have shared in other videos, my son ran for multiple leadership positions, and each year got closer to what he wanted, and finally became the student body president after many failed attempts, so adding up over many years of service and support of others it will eventually lead to you being the chosen leader.

Oh my goodness! Great tip on the cliff hanger!! I’m the keynote speaker at an upcoming conference, and then I have a breakout session. I’m going to use the cliff hanger to push people to my breakout. As for ending on Q&A, I have done that in the past but agree with you that it’s not a good way to end. It steals the opportunity to have a mic drop ending when ending with a Q&A.
