Shillong Transformation: New Public Utilities, Parking Spaces, Green Conservation Initiatives
Hon'ble Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma on Saturday inspected the Barik Point in Shillong, which is set to undergo a major transformation. The government plans to utilize nearly 25 acres of land to alleviate congestion in Shillong city, creating new walkways, a green park, museums, and more. This initiative aims to enhance the city's overall aesthetics and showcase the rich and diverse culture of Meghalaya to tourists. An iconic structure, including the installation of a National Flag visible from various parts of the city, will be a highlight of the new complex. These efforts promise to give Shillong a fresh, beautiful look and offer an enriched experience to visitors.

I moved into shillong a few months ago for my studies cuz shillong has the best colleges. While staying here i was shocked to see this small pan shop owners and taxi drivers speaking fluent english. Because its is not like that in my state 😃 They can speak better english than me 😂 Anyways i’m glad that im surrounded by this type of people because it also helps me in improving my english. ❤

I like CM Conrad sir very much but his colleague minister i don't like them, I never knew that sir Conrad understand the khasi language clearly I'm shocked to see this response reply from him to that student asking questions in khasi but he understands very clearly and he replied clearly in English.
