What a ride that was! Right in the seat, Mike; what a viewing experience with your chest camara apparatus running, it was surreal. A Honda 70 bookin' like that, cornering so well, never imagined feeling on top of one again! Thank you, thank you!

@@kemoayers8272 by itself not too much, but combined with the new nibbi 22mm absolutely. They work together well.

2,000 miles on it, no issues so far
I got to tell you you’re a lot braver than I am going that fast on those squirrelly bikes! I have an original ct70 (which is much slower) and it feels like a twitch at 30 mph will send it way off on a tangent I don’t want to go!

Yes, love the classic look
You can get some sudo clutch action between first and second by holding down the shifter, get some rpm up and then hit a wheelie. 😅😅 i had an original back in the early 80s when i was a young teen. Best times of my life. Gone from sun up to sun down all summer long.

The stock which I believe is a 32T (going from memory)

They come factory with a 4 speed. (4 down pattern) and auto clutch.
You have an engine side cover that has "Honda" embrodded - thats not stock ?
Nope! Custom made by a guy named Luke Hilquist. The factory one is just painted engine case color.

I just bought a champion and it came with a PVC canister. I’ve never seen one on one of these bikes. do you happen to know why I would have one?
That is a new thing for 2023 to comply with emissions regulations. It’s an evap system that circulates fuel vapors back into the engine instead of the atmosphere.

Not that I’m aware of.
The quieter option is the stock factory baffle exhaust pipe set up it is extremely quiet and I'm not changing mine I love it I find these louder ones to be just ridiculously annoying because it's not a big dirt bike it's designed to be efficient and quiet😊

What's a comfortable cruising speed for this bike on backroads? How well does it keep up with traffic?
About 40 for cruising back roads. You can go 50-55 on flat ground if needed. I rode on main roads all the time around my town.

Probably 50-53mph on flat ground. The stock speedo is known to run high. I never really look at it

Hey what gas do you use? Did you also get yours brand new and had rust in the gas tank?
I use 91 ethanol free gas. I did get it brand new, and yes the tank had some rust. I flushed it with evaporust, and coated it before I ever started the bike.
Curious how long you’ve been riding this and how it’s been holding up?
I've had it for a little over a year. Its got 900km so far. It has held up very well, the only thing i've had to replace was the stock chain. It was stretching really bad and I found myself having to adjust it constantly the first month I had the bike. I replaced it with a $20 RK one from amazon and haven't had any further issues.
