No. It’s about 10 mins by mini-bus. I believe you can walk it in about 25-30mins but I didn’t try.

I’m not. It’s more the feeling of being duped.

I agree with you 100%. I also remember a time when airline travel was more enjoyable. Those big screen we all had to watch were great. I remember flying with Air Canada to Toronto. We had The Birds going out and Jaws coming back! Not quite sure how the kids coped! 😂 Yeah, charge us a few more kid and bring back a tiny bit of comfort. It was doable then so it should be doable now!

I love them too. I’ve actually never noticed them before.

Not really. The roads are small, rough and winding. Drivers are not always sensible either. It’s the only downside I can think of with regards to St Lucia.

I do understand when people have paid a small fortune for All Inclusive but if you’re not going to leave the hotel you may as well books somewhere cheaper and closer to home.

It’s the one item no home is complete without!

It reclines as much as the others (I was closer to the front coming home). There’s quite a gap between the seat and the bulkhead behind.

It’s calm and relaxing. It was incredibly quiet over the Summer. There is some entertainment most nights but it’s easy to keep away and avoid the noise if you want too. It’s an adults only resort so that helps keep it chilled too. If you’re looking for peace and quiet it’s the place to be. If it’s an all round party atmosphere you want then it’s not for you. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

@@thegadaboutdad1057 Sounds perfect ! We liked it chilled. Did you go to the Friday night party I think they have one in the town.? We went to Oistins in Barbados it was a great night.

I didn’t go to the Friday night party but I know someone who did and didn’t rate it (it was too busy for them) I went to Barbados a couple of years ago and didn’t make it to Oistins Fish Fry (not during the evening)

Imagine how much extra they’d charge for a guaranteed baby free flight. They wouldn’t resists the chance to make extra from it.

The time I got my camera confiscated for filming a prison that looked like Butlins? Yeah, I remember is all too well!

I may have had a quick look at some of the ground floor ones when walking past on the way to the pool. They looked a bit bigger but decoration was the same. The umbrella came in so handy!

It’s incredibly big. The rooms really are excellent value. The whole resort is amazing.

I stayed in the cheaper bungalow rooms. Video should be out this Saturday. Spoiler alert - I loved my room!

BA in the air are great. On the ground…not so good when things go wrong 😞

The next class up is ClubWorld which is equivalent to business class. Above that is First Class. I believe there are beds in both but first has the better ones. I could be wrong though. I’ll never truly know until someone pays for me 😊 I’m still waiting for a benefactor to come forward lol

I managed to get most of it off later the same day. I did have some left behind my ear which a waitress pointed out to me the next day 😂

The hotel was amazing (as is St. Lucia) The food, drinks, staff…it was all amazing!

Travelling by boat to get around the west coast seems much easier and faster than land!!

I did land and catamaran. Overall, the sea version was much more enjoyable.

It was a couple of years ago now. It was interesting to compare the two.

My trip to the Valley of the Kings was part of the cruise I went on. To get there from Hurghada takes about five hours by bus (there are flights too) There were VERY few Brits on our boat so the trip consisted of six of us.
