If you use 20 vol it will lighten brown roots 1 level. Also, toners are not just for blonde hair, there are toners for all hair colors.
It’s hard getting hold of these 2 colours so until I can get both I’m leaving hair alone

Thanks for sharing! do you think it would work mixing 20v developer with T14 only without the 050 additive? What does the additive do exactly? I am thinking to apply the toner on my roots after dying my hair to a blonde level 9
You can use without the 050 added, you can also use just a 10 vol developer to deposit if you don’t want anymore lift. I like adding the 050 because it’s adds extra Violet to the toner which helps cancel yellow tones.

no, the 050 is just an additive so you don't need more
I bleach my hair and got a gold/yellow. Would the T14 and 20 developer work for my hair ?
It should work, I just re did mine the other day using t14 and 10 volume developer with a lot of the 050 added and it turned out super icy blonde.

Can’t you buy toner for darker levels? I thought they make toners for brown hair as well.
What I meant in the video was this particular toner will only work on a certain level lifted hair...you need to be a pale yellow for it to do anything.
You can also get wells brass kicker if your hair has more orange tones in it and it’ll help a lot!!
I just have a question about the 20 dev, I have slight root regrowth and figured I should use 10 dev so it doesn’t lighten the roots - but you were saying that the 20 won’t lighten my roots at all? any info is much appreciated! ty :)
NurseCarnivore 10 would be better for the regrowth. If you can use a brush for better placement along the new growth.

Be very careful using the 050, it will turn your blond hair to a gray if too much is used.
It actually tones a level 7, 6 hair that turned orange from bleaching.

Very true. Im a natural 3 with red undertones. I get my hair to a level 7,6 and it works on that and its usually orange hair

@@xandrias6411 probably have to lighten jt more but it may tone your orange to a muted orange...think level 6/7 ash blonde family...

First rule of toning or coloring hair...Section your hair! Sectioning cuts the patchiness down. I’m guilty of using my hands to put color on m6 hair but I section to get all the strands of my hair saturated. 050 was great info! Thank you!

That's what I was wondering. I have dark roots from regrowth, and I'm afraid 10 won't tone that part, but 20 would lighten to dark orange and the toner not strong enough to cover all the orange! I don't know what developer to use tonight when I tone mine!
I swear by the 050 additive. Its literally the ONLY thing that tones the brassy out of my blond. I only use 2 cap fulls tho. It can turn very dark if you use too much
Can the 050 additive along with T14 be used to blend grey roots with bleach blonde hilights in between color?

Omg! I used 2 bottles of the t14 with one whole bottle of the 050 n my hair is a dark gray color 😭 I did not know I needed a cap or 2
If you just want grayish-brown hair or very cool brown hair you can use the additive on its own without the T14. ua-cam.com/video/3ToDoCQLQx0/v-deo.html Please be careful though as just the additive can turn your hair black, as always do a strand test first, do not just place that on your head.
That macadamia conditioner is the bomb 💣 for sure! I have very dry, curly hair and it makes it feel and look so much better! Your hair looks great!
