I got essentially stun locked in this exact spot once and lost a stalker run lol. Wolf was after me I tried to sprint to one of those cars and as I was trying to get in got attacked, fought him off, as soon as that encounter ended another attacked, fought him off. The 3rd one killed me lol.

On my fifth interloper run now (its my fifth bc i died within the first 3 days on my first 4 runs). Took me about 16 days to get my bow and arrows. Makes a huge difference to finally be able to defend yourself. Im now ~40 days in.

Only thing missing was the bear that comes through when you least expect it, I came out of the Quonset hut once and ran right into him, good thing first aid was a very short walk away.

If you have a lit torch or flare just drop it on the floor and aim a weapon at the wolfs and they will run away

Oh damn 😂 thats so lucky. I usually have to haul all tbe meat in this lovation from either the lake or the broken down tram. Ive found if you have a lv 3 scent... just hang around by the train track and they will come to you 😂

I love the Quonset Garage area but man it's really unassumingly dangerous. I was breaking down the pallets outside and it turned to dark by the time the action was done, and then there was a bear outside and it was chasing me and I had to fumble around in absolute darkness. Fortunately I made it back inside though but it really is just peaceful and then suddenly dangerous out of nowhere!

Every day I open this platform, I'm met with the videos of different creators living through the same experience I had, literally the previous night's gaming. New mechanic. You can't harvest with bare hands until it has been "opened" with a tool. So you will need to harvest a bit with a tool (ex: some meat with hacksaw) then you can continue with bare hands. You can also harvest anything that has been interacted with a wolf since that counts as "opening" it.

Funny enough im in bleak inlet on one of my runs with the exact same weapon loadout.

The garage always seemed too hostile for a base. I like the fishing hut by the fishing cabins. Outdoor workbench can be iffy but its fun living in the hut and fishing, use the cabins if its too cold.
