Why are they not use the whole runway?
Most of it is utilized as it’s a very short runway. It’s really cool to watch the planes arrive & depart.
Chrissy, I'm begging you to save the clips of your husband for a personal vlog. You do such good voice-over work. Shoot the ships and share your experience as a TA. You could grow this channel with a few small changes that more well-known female cruise influencers follow. Good luck 🍀

Went on Meravaglia in May 2024 for the first time.. Had interior cabin with Bella category.. to find it was a maze of right /left turns in different hallways to get to the cabin! All other cruise ships that I’ve been on had hallways from forward to aft in a straight line both port and starboard side.. Not a deal breaker since the ship is gorgeous but an idiosyncratic floor plan that one needs to adjust to!
@@MrGintao lol…….we have to agree. We weren’t use to the layout either which is another reason we couldn’t find our room. But it was a great laugh finding it💕
We're in Aurea class in January and have rooms booked before and after at The Lodge Red Hook. I have to wonder if it's going to be that easy to walk then (we're Canadian Ontario snowbelt active seniors, walking isn't a biggie for us). And with Aurea priority boarding, it happens once the Yacht Club boards, from what I understand.
I’m so excited for your upcoming travels. We haven’t sailed Aurea Class yet, but it’s on our list to try. You’ll have to let us know your thoughts. Barring there’s not a lot of snow or ice the walk is very easy. It’s a simple walk under 15 min. So if it’s clear I’d choose walking over an uber. I just don’t know about snow and rolling luggage…..lol
Thanks for sharing. We’ve only done YC twice out of the ~25 sailings over the past 2 years. Super experience, I agree. Also agree that I miss the Meriviglia, but everything has been great on the Seaside and now Seashore too. Dedicated MSC customer, they do it right.
We will be on Seascape YC in December…..can’t wait!! I think MSC YC has spoiled us for life…. lol
@@CruisnwithChrissy Right, like you want to just live there (not something I can afford). I haven’t been on the SeaScape, but I believe some friends (crew) will be on then. Wendy (singer) should be music director by then, plays with her brother Kevin as “Family Gems Duo”. Sometimes Kevin just plays in the YC on piano, Piano Man is his best IMHO (request it). If you run into them, favor to ask- get them a drink (she does Black Label neat) and say that Greg says Hi. I also believe that Leo, a casino pit boss, will be on by then. Great guy, if you spend any time there.

Ebooks and audio books are a very real thing
They absolutely are, Yes. But physical books with paper you can touch, smell and feel the turn of pages are old school. This is just my opinion 🤷♀️
No offense to anyone. Christina doesn’t do paper books either, she listens to her audio books.
What cruise line do you like best? I’ve only been on carnival
Good question, It depends…. They all have different qualities we like. If we’re looking for more luxury-higher end then MSC Yacht Club. If we’re looking more at an itinerary basis we love Celebrity. (Celebrity Summit and Celebrity Beyond are 2 favs.) If we want to be pampered more and more of a laid back feel then we enjoy Holland America. Royal Caribbean also has some great ships we love too for a more party/adventure vibe. Happy Travels💕

Can you order multiple food items at once? Is there a rare eats selection? And please explain the entertainment onboarding, I seen where I had to for entertainment pass.
We didn’t have any issues ordering multiple food items at all. In fact, Stephen loved the Lamb chops soooo much the waiter kept asking him if he wanted more. So he had 3 plates of lamb chops served. We would order 2 desserts or 3 starters to share. The entertainment is wonderful. If you are in Yacht Club there’s reserved seating and you don’t have to prebook/reserve shows. But if you are not YC then yes you must prebook/reserve the shows you want to see in the Theater by using the MSC app. Happy Travels💕

Very nice. You look like you enjoyed yourselves. BTW, do you have to make reservations for the shows when you are in YC even though they have a reserved area? Also, did you have any noise on deck 19 from the pol chairs, etc., on the floor above? Thank so much for the information!
No, that’s the nice part of YC no reservations needed for the shows. You could have your Butler escort you to the theater or just show up to the reserved area for seating. No, We didn’t hear any noise in our room on deck 19. We’ve had really great experiences on YC so far💕.

The cruise ship builders were like “let’s build a see-through bridge so people can admire the part of the ship that’s below it!” Then someone else was like “shouldn’t we have it be see-through to the water below?” And then builders were like “ok, fine, 30% of the view can be water, but ONLY IF we make sure the bridge glass is dirty!”
Right….lol. Plus I go back to look at videos and all I have are feet pics🤦♀️

Ah, ya missed out on the better shows - the Varity Show at the Caberet has two shows, that then repeat. Starts at 7:30pm and no other time. Afterwards is great round of bonding with Karaoke. Time to do another 4 day cruise :)
