It sure is! I think I mentioned it at the beginning of the let's play (and during it) that I played it on my 360 first. Got it 09 or something with Fallout 3. My friend got Halo 3 and because we were kids on a budget we got Far Cry 2 50/50.

@johnwaite3834 Oh, thanks a lot! I think a lot comes down to playing a lot of hardcore fps games over the years. Things like STALKER, Metro, Tarkov, and so on. I love it when there's a tactical element to a game, especially fps games, but other genres too. I guess I've been playing my niche here on UA-cam because now I have the Resident Evil series lol

@@TheLazyFinn In this clip you say you find out the handgliders have a use.... to find a tape. This is why I made the comment. I have also seen other clips of your play where you completely ignore handgliders and don't try to find diamonds with them. We all play differently to each other, so there is no need to comes across defensive or aggressive.

@@22Phantasm Yea, I think this video was one of the few hang glider ones I skipped. There were few during the series where I opted not to get them because I had no idea where the glider actually was lol, most of the time I actually spotted the glider naturally. I felt like the flow would get interrupted if I started looking for them and I have limited time to record anyway. But I think I got a good number of them!

@@Milo-xb3gj Tbh, I don't think Ubi would do this, but I imagine some indie/AA studio could! I do hope we get a spiritual successor in some form though, I hope the janky parts are addressed as well!

@@steelzepplin2012 For sure! It's always interesting to go back to play a game from your childhood and see how it holds up. I must say I appreciate Far Cry 2 more than I did back then!

I'm using Vanilla Plus (Tom's Mod)

Huh? Yea the mod changes some of the ammo capacities, mainly crossbow, pistols and mortar

Oh! Sorry about the saturation, I'm usually very touchy about it in the games I play! With the current settings I think the game looks way better, but that's subjective. The mod I use (Vanilla Plus) allows you to change the saturation and I can't remember what I used when I was setting the mod up. It must have been between around 40% more compared to vanilla.
