Help
Like sending one soldier out against the army of greed. Don’t like the odds! Jeffrey.
SACHS IS THE UN AND WEF LACKY.
We are a CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC . WHATS WRONG WITH YOU.
Prof. Sachs, You will make a good US president.
Forget about democracy. You need to reclaim your country first. America has taken over elite rulers and turned into a private company which works for their agenda.
He is for the left.
Jeez what a boring introduction 😢
This dude...way over-hyped. He has a vast array of big intellectual words. It's too bad that he uses them most often to inject his personal political ideals into his expressions of the intellectual-elitist-disconnected-from-reality world he lives in...and it's a world swiss-cheesed by the many holes of hypocrisy that are born from educated bubbles of the people who think they should be in n the world management business.
He is completely full of crap. Typical liberal BS.
The best speech yet b cuz of the rage & it’s true what he says we r not safe eveb w trump out of office we have true sociopaths on FOX in the GOP who r calling their base and “army of God” they r shooting people they broke into Pelosi’s home to kill her & almost killed her husband they r using conspiracies to send armed uneducated people to commit mass murder they hate everyone from blacks Jewish LGBTQ Chinese immigrants educated people libs it’s endless Please help a family member come back to reality the amount of money flooding far right influencer’s means many young guys will suddenly start believing the stuff they r saying so pay attention to ur loved ones & intervene b4 it’s too late if anything is off at all
Thank you professor Jeffrey Sachs ❤
❤thank you Jeffrey Sachs. You are truly eloquent!
Once again, thank you Jeffrey Sachs.
If Jeffery only knew what'd Joe Biden would do then...Trump would not have gone to war with Putin.
Jeff we hear you, and we trust you. Thank you. 😊
a wonderful man with such a clear vision of safety for all living in this small world 🌎
Thank you professor Jeffrey Sachs 🌏
Wonderful yes peace coperation needed .one question is this mr Kennedy the president assasinated before even completing one term in office
In my estimation this Gentleman is the TRUE VOICE of the AMERICAN PEOPLE ( no not the American Government) He, JEFFREY SACHS along with VIJAY PRASHAD are the true beacons that shines A light of HOPE and TRUTH on the REALITY of today.
What good does it do to VOTE when both choices are unacceptable? Like Trump vs Hillary? And both parties support WAR. I do vote, but for some third party, just as a protest.
America.past.history.wtll Always.preced.them.to.bad.
Thank you
waching this in 2021, i can't but notice the echo chamber : academics mentioning the 'relevance' of people the public doesn't hear about (hello advertising based news media). makes me sad, these people don't realize that their personal position too high in the social hierarchies to be really, in action and not just in speech, be motivated to push for change. conservatives know it, that's why they're getting bolder at assaulting educational entities: the other side wants business to go as usual, which is disastrous when dealing with autocratic opportunists. them quick and irresponsible and that pays off in the short term. in the medium you have the intellectuals implicitly on your side. in the long everyone is gaslit enough to have normalized trumpo, or the next fascist . no academic has produced one single piece of practical leadership, but for those black lawyers who dared proposing CRT, and look how helpful the rest of academics have been in guiding the public not to be mystified about it. zero solidarity, but the usual classist one, that make intellectuals betray their alleged prosocial role. at least european education is affordable, for being a part of the propaganda machine, but as the US has achieved the reagan dream, i lost all respect for american universities, Cornell included. you have zero courage. zero usefulness under the circumstances.
I would love to see Jeff Sachs to run for the highest public office of the US... The US political system has been broken and dysfunctional for decades ... But it can be reformed... Step 1. Get money out of politics... All political contribution should be capped for people running for office - no loopholes!!!!! Corporations should not be able to buy politicians.... I'm Canadian and you may be wondering why I care about what has happened and continues to happen in the US. The answer is simple.... We are all interconnected and I would like to see the world become a place where real world problems; such as: hunger, inequality in all of its manifestations, climate change, affordable housing and healthcare solved.
I need his intelligence. I must learn more.
Fantastic analysis but ignores the huge elephant in he room- the complicity of the Democrats-.America is a duopoly and Biden is in fact worse than Trump because he has been totally involved with horrible laws and devastating wars. Trump has really done little compared to Biden and Obama. This is what Sachs ignores.
I agree too. I would not have believed the situation we are in, if I had been told this 60 years ago, but it is reality!!!
Come on Americans. Unite to change all of this!!!!
Marxism is evil and attracts the stupid, ignorant and insane among us. Deportation or death
Death to Marxist filth
No demagoguery here... for an adult like him to use fear tactics to scare young impressionable minds toward his political agenda is shameful at best and agenda-driven manipulation at worst. Why a professor can’t just teach without scaring people into buying his books to ingratiate himself, is beyond me. But I’m old enough to know better... shame on you but you won’t stop. Too much money in it for you.
You may be old enough but you simply don't know better, on any level.
@@nemishis12 thanks for the excellent critical thinking skills in your comment.
Lol.🤣
i liked his work about Walter Benjamin's On the Concept of History from 2006.
Beware of this man's one world agenda. The U.N.'s agenda is a one world government; also known as multi-lateralism, and globalization.
So few of our young folks know about the brilliant Appalshop! I grew up in Kentucky and remember how exciting it was! And I know it's long been a champion of free speech and community empowerment. Thank you!
Jeffrey Sach lying disgusting Globalist --- should be tried on treason. DISGUSTING PERSON.
Extremely important and sobering talk about our politics and environment by Prof. Jeffery Sachs everyone should watch. "Are our politics organized for the common good?," hell no!
Why didn't they invite him back on MSNBC. It's been more than a year I think. (insert hmm icon here)
a truly honest man with great courage
There has been no "US gangsterism" since the end of the Cold War, assertions of such are made by people to minimize agency and responsibility of other actors so they can get away with stuff that they accuse the US of doing. Useful idiots like Sachs help them by parroting their claims which don't require evidence, since it all happens "behind the scenes". In short they are conspiracy-peddlers and typically academics addicted to their own intellectual ego, "standing up to the establishment."
demonstrate crazy
Turn on Fox propaganda... You'll see crazy lies - EVERYDAY.......
did he get more radical recently? I always thought he stayed next to the edge to maintain his 'respectability', but now he sounds like Chomsky
@FUNBox I also like Chomsky. This was not a criticism. Chomsky can't get on MSM, now I'm wondering how long Sachs will be allowed
Very informative, very relative! Mr. Sachs is sounding the alarm and he is right to do so.
The Planet will burn and humans will become extinct within 75 years.
Now the World is in a sustainability crisis created by a Western multinational corporate tyranny aka the military industrial complex [MIC]. Although run by the US oligarchy and based there, its got many roots in its resource grabs around the world, including but not limited to fossil fuels. The American public is not well educated and is confused and much distracted by the mainstream media , and as a result its apathetic and disengaged or elects poor leaders who are corrupt and irresponsible. I expect that if the World is going to survive, China, India Russia and the EU will have to quickly lead: drop fossil fuels, adopt low carbon energy and address the climate crisis independent of America.
This man has accumulated smarts, but he has not accumulated wisdom. Long live President Trump!!!
fear monger the sky is falling from the us only so lets destroy the us economy and help build Chinas to pollute at a higher rate Indian Saudi Arabia Russia and so on
mr Jeffrey sachs is great man
Carbon realities: www.moralcaseforfossilfuels.com/data/ globaltemperature chart: www.nsstc.uah.edu/climate/index.html Global governance is technocratic totalitarianism.
I like him a lot. But this speech reeks of visceral propaganda.
Roger Grandy how?
How?
You must be a brainwashed Trumpanzee FOX viewer......
