Never been to the track myself.. But i rev match on roads. I was cringing and only made it 3 minutes into the video. At one point it seemed like he changed gear but he didn't.. 2 times in a row. Just pulling the clutch in and releasing it again.
I own sv 1000, 2005 y, 30000 km, when i ride behind a car and we have a some cameras on road (cameras which masure speed of driving) we ride exactly same speed , so i want to say, this failure is not often on Sv bike.. i watched video and i cannot guessed in which gear he rides, and on others sv videos i know exactly which gear use driver...
Mate, ever heard of rev matching. Try blip the throttle when you down shift. You risk locking up the rear if you release the clutch too quickly without rev matching
People have to learn sometime, nobody is perfect right from day one. And its better to race a four thousand dollar motorcycle when you are new to track days versus a thirty thousand dollar bike.
@@gajuszmateusz5140 yep, I was just thinking, damn my SV1000 has exactly the same difference :D I've been doing some tests and calculations and it comes down to about 11,4% difference between speedo and GPS tracked speed
Bad one
Dude if you’re scared of the bike just say so…don’t try to blow it up 😅
Some of the worst shifting I’ve ever seen, not even rev matching lol feel sorry for the bike

Sv1000 don’t have a lot of motor brake when down shift

They don't need your approval, if he's had fun and/or lern't something that's what is important.
Woah, about 30 kph difference between speedo and telemetric?
@@IAm-zs8ef I know that, I was only a bit shocked that difference is so big

SV1K takes speedo reading from front sprocket. Change your sprockets to different size and your speedo goes all wonky
@@timotejlesko2387 You probably need a speedohealer
7:15 is where the wheels fall of a little but you had more fun on that day than most guys put together 😁
Szia Help Milyen app az ami igy jelzi a sebességet az útvonalat mint a képen ?
If a sv1000s is at idle for more then 10 min you burn the heads
