once upon a time, back when it was also verboten to dazzle the driver in front with your headlights, it was considered that a pedestrian crossing the road within the area delineated by the ZIGZAGs had legal protection just as if they were crossing on the actual striped area of the crossing. The legal basis for this was quite simple. Pedestrians have a legal right to be in the road anyway, rather than needing a licence to use the road. The zigzags warn all road users that there is a pedestrian crossing, and that no overtaking is permitted, nor parking. Therefore, if a pedestrian crosses even off the stripes, but within the zigzags, any other road user should be ready and anticipate the need to give way. But then the tories took a chainsaw to high standards of roadcraft so now SUVs can aim their blinding lights into the car in front, with total impunity.

They use a white colored thread locker on the base bolt. Put the base of the gimbal in a glass of boiling water for 15 minutes and the bolt comes out really easy. I had previously tried a large breaker bar with a 5.5mm hex bit and I couldn't move it. I tried a 1150 ft/lb impact gun and still nothing. The boiling water does the trick and the bolt comes out easy.

Did you run into the base bolt being nearly unmovable? Just got mine and can't get the bolt loose.

Hi, Jeremy, what is the size of the hex tool you used to remove the screw for the base? I am referring to 2:25 of your video. I am unable to find a correct size of hex tool to get the job done.

This lens is Broken. What this lens does at the focusing ring is not described as Normal operation. It is not a simple lens to repair.I would advice to sent it back and get a refund. Consider the Zoom-Nikkor 28-105mm 3.5-4.5 too its a Great lens with better macro mode.

What a stupid place to attempt an overtake. Clearly a sign warning you of a junction coming up on your offside. What if she wanted to turn right into that junction? What if a car was turning left out of that junction into you coming along the offside of the road? If you are going to put yourself above others, don't drive like a tit yourself. Despite what you may think, you quite clearly are not an advanced driver.
