This was a comparison and side by side cameras of my Friend and keys player/ MD at My church Jacob Webber. We are both using Midas DP 48 to monitor our IEM Mix the DP 48 has a built in SD Card Reader and we both used that for our audio no post production on that. My camera is a BMDP4k Using a 12 mm Cine lens and Jacob is Using a Go Pro Hero 9.

Thanks for sharing, when we mix out of logic, and dante into the xlr, we have struggles with getting loud enough volume! How did you guys fix this with the atem
@@nathangoh834 we make sure to have healthy gain and then we push the Mix buses hard and they are all parallel compressed and we use an adaptive limiter in logic and make sure we see 4 to 5 db of reduction. After it hits the limiter
Does it have Ipad version too?
I have followed this exactly. Everything seems to work but propresenter freezes every time I go to add midi cues. any ideas?
Are you using an older Mac? Could be an issue also make sure you have no other software running on it.
@@ennis437 its a 2020 Mac Mini M1 running sonoma 14.5. - What other software would be running besides proprenter at the time of use? Anything specific?
@@Jaream01 we are using the same computer/setup without issue. Is PP7 up to date I know a lot of times certain refreshes can cause issue I would suggest making sure PP7 is up to date and also confirm that your Mac is receiving the midi data by opening up the audio midi set up and you can visually see if it’s receiving midi data.

When you are running multiple triggers into the Roland, how many input do you need to get it to the font of house? Is it one XLR out? If so, can you control the volumes of each trigger before it sends to the FOH?

Can you link more than 2 pads? Say if you need a clicktrack, speaktrack and backtrack?
What does your input output look like with the in ears? Are you getting an output from FOH so you can mix in a monitor mix?
So the SPDSX was used like a small mixer that went in to an XR 18 and the sub outs had the click and the main outs had tracks and samples

Yes. In Playback, click "Edit" and then click on the 3 dots on the song...then scroll and find "ProPresenter Playlist" and "ProPresenter Playlist Item"....For this example, go on this video and pause it at 3:03 so we can see his ProPresenter........The "ProPresenter Playlist" would be "1" because he only has one playlist there called "revelation test"....under the Playback setting "ProPresenter Playlist Item", that's gonna be the actual songs you see listed on his ProPresenter. So if you want the 13th song down the list, that's where you'd put "13"

Can you do this with a PC? We use PC for pro presenter and iPad for playback
Not the same way Mac’s have a built in midi driver.

PLEASE, I THINK YOU CAN HELP ME! i record 4K in sony cameras, i use the atem mini to witch the cameras, the atem mini iso create a multicamera in resolve, and now i need to change the iso files, for the 4k recorder on camera, do you know how i can do this? sorry my bad english
You can manually replace the shots with your in camera recordings but it’s not as simple as just flipping a switch like the black magic cameras can do.
@@ennis437 where can I learn how. I'm having the same issue. I recorded with 3 black magic cameras and one GH5S. How do I replace the ISO with the full GH5S file?
@@ricomolden if you have any non black magic cameras in the mix then you have to use proxies the above example only works if they are ALL black magic cameras

So are you using it live? And if so is there any noticeable latency delay in the frint of house speakers using a computer instead of the normal behringer midas yamaha hardware. I have a Midas MR18 and would like to try Logic Pro as a live rig
Yes ! Very much so , almost a full second which is why it can’t be used live . But works perfect for live stream as we just delay audio to match on the final input of the ATEM

Just a guess but make sure inside playback you have selected the network that you are trying to automate.

Is there a way to do this without blackmagic camera. Maybe not the same exactly but at least some work around to sync the 4k footage with the live edit recorded in this iso file
Yes, actually in resolve you can create a multitrack synch by audio that works pretty well.! Just Import all your video files and then select “create multicam timeline”.
If you are looking for a black beauty but can't afford one check it the Pork Pie brass snares. Almost identical and well under $500. I just got the 14X8 and am in love with it. I should have a video up about it in the next few weeks hopefully

I bought the first gen PDP that came out many years ago, and still play them today. Anyone that things they are crap, hasn’t played or owned any. More than fantastic for its price point. 👍🏼🇨🇦

It’s a hybrid acoustic electric kit, as you can see but the key is to take the membrane of the drum, the pads themselves too, and just add it to a shell. It doesn’t seem that complex but it’s really unique, the one thing I hate about e drums is the look, they look awful because it’s meant for practice but in this setting, it’s great, because it helps with sound control
Actually he may just have kept the toms and incorporated e cymbals, I’m not entirely sure
I am Going to do a deep dive soon but yes it’s a real Pearl export series kit that has been outfitted with Jobeky triggers , and the kick with a Roland KDA 22. Using superior drummer 3. Into a presonus thunderbolt audio interface for ligtining fast Audio.

The PDP concept maple line punches over its weight class. They’re a great deal.
I have the same wood hooped drum set only in the bebop sizes in the same color that you currently have in your video. It didn't come with a snare so I purchased a Dixon hybrid 5 1/2 by 14 10 lug wood hooped Maple mahogany snare drum, on the color is a close match and sounds great. It was a good price.
