I don't see why Sarah got so upset. it was unfortunate for those guys but necessary, Cameron was right they knew where they lived.

What I love about this clip is the fact that showing Cameron looking at John hugging Sarah is not coincidencial. I think this is a moment when she as a Cyborg realizes what is the main thing that differentaties John from Skynet as his main counterpart in the war. Skynet as an artificial system relies on sending its individuals (Terminators) and paradoxically it does not care at all about its creation, whether it's damaged or destroyed. It does not let evolve and develop its individuals, it is cruel and cold-calculating. Despite the fact John will also have to be hardened for incoming Judgement Day, he will remain compassionate and caring for people and cyborgs who fight for him. They have a great value for him and they are not just a cannon fodder in this war. He will mourn his soldiers and closest ones a lot in the future and it will break him down a million times. Cameron knows that, because in the future, she knows him very well, but here she has a full picture of who John is not as a General, but as a HUMAN BEING. That's why she emphasizes to Sarah later that "he cares". Cameron does not point it truly as his weakness. She feels a lot of compassion towards John, equally his present(young) and future version. Cameron may hide it very well, but I think there is not only a glimpse of love towards John, but also the fact, that by saving his and Sarah's future, he will save HER as someone rejected by her creator. If it wasn't for John, Cameron would have nothing to fight for, no directive, no use. She would be like a stray cat. Cameron protects John from death, John saves her from her misery. A perfect harmony conveyed in this show!
