"Enjoying Life!" - March 22, 2022
I created this channel to be able to store all my adventures.
While a lot of people look thru photo albums, I want to watch mine while sharing it with Family & Friends.
I am not gonna be posting weekly or even sometimes monthly, I'll upload whenever I have travel plans or simply when I get motivated to edit my videos :D

Hi Can we directly enter the station to use sky access using "Welcome Suica"? And are there multiple Asakusa station or just one?
Yes you can, as long as it has enough funds. Now do keep in mind that the Sky Access and Skyliner are both located on platform 1, so please be sure to get on the right train :) there are 2, but don't worry, the station that the sky access stops at is the one near Senso-Ji Temple stop (A18) on the Toie Asakusa Line :)
Does Sky access go to Ueno?
As far as I know, it doesn't. The one that goes straight to Ueno is the skyliner, it's on the same platform as the Sky Access (Platform 1) It's a bit more pricey because it's a limited express train but it's more comfy because it's all reserved seating.
Hii..if I buy Kansai mini pass for 3 day can use haruka from kix to Osaka??
Hello, based on my research, you'll still need an extra ticket for the Limited Express Haruka.
@@EnjoyingLife. So..Kansai mini pass for 3 day can't use from kix to Osaka?? Or may be with another rapid or jr from kix to osaka
👍🏻💯👍🏻🏆
😮😄😁🤗
Very helpful. Thank you 🥰
Glad to hear 😄
So, the basic fare ticket and express train ticket to Kyoto go hand in hand, right? What happens if you only purchase the basic fare ticket?
you can't ride the Haruka, there is a personell roaming the train checking for tickets.
No change of train direct narita to asakusa?
Yes, just make sure your on the right train 😁
You said to feed both tickets, but you just feed one.
Hello, I had a JR Pass that's why you only saw 1 ticket, if you followed the instructions as stated in the video, the machine will give you two tickets. From there you'll need to feed it to the ticket machine at the same time :)
Very helpful...thanks a lot
Glad it helped! 😁
Thank you! Your videos are so helpful with your step by step instructions!
Glad it helps 😁
Thank you
You're welcome! 😁
Where do I buy an IC card, is there a machine nearby?
you should be able to buy an IC Card from a machine or inside a train office.
As someone that reviewed this video and did the exact same path, Thanks. This is the best way to get from Narita to Asakusa. But few things should be made more clear 1) If you have an IC card don't buy a paper ticket. The IC card basically is your train ticket and is the standard way to get on a train. Although you can by a paper ticket with an IC card that actually is a waste of time. 2) When you get to the train platform, it will not say "Asakusa" anywhere as the train destination. The train line changes names before it gets to "Asakusa" but it is the same train that leaves the airport. If in doubt, use Google Maps to figure out what time the train arrives and get on it when it appears.
Hello I am planning to get the icoca card at kansai airport, so to travel on this train, once I get an icoca card then I need to go to the green ticket machine that you showed?
yes, because you will still need a limited express ticket to ride the Haruka :)
@@EnjoyingLife. Ok I see thank you!
thank you so much, very useful, I didn't have time to check the route and I am flying Japan tomorrow!!!
Glad it helps, enjoy your trip! 😁
Do I need to transfer to another train within stations? Or just a single train ride will get me directly to Asakusa station?
It's a direct route, no need to transfer, just please make sure you're on the right train :)
@@EnjoyingLife. Thank you!
@@tymprsquezon9691 You're welcome! :D
Hey man thanks a lot for this video. Do we have switch trains at any point ?
No, it's a direct route. Please just make sure you're on the right train though 😆
thanks this is very helpful :)
You're welcome! 😁
We are arriving at termina 1 Narita. Does it mean we have to go to terminal 2 po? Wala cya sa terminal 1 tysm
meron sa T1 😃
Makakasakay kadin ng Sky Access from T1, direct route din sya 😁
@@EnjoyingLife. thanks
@@JCDpurple You're welcome! :D
Hi i have a question, is there any direct train from narita airport to asakusa? Or we still need to transfer from ueno to asakusa?
The Sky Access is a direct route from Narita to Asakusa as shown in the video 😁
Thank you man, really helpful 👍
you're welcome 😀
Hi! Your video was so helpful! Does this route applies for the Tokyo 72h subway pass?
Thanks, I regret to say that it does not, I tried it but the machine didn't accept the pass at the airport since it's not part of the Tokyo subway anymore.
Thank you for this great info. Now i have confident to travel with my daughter this coming of November.
Glad it helped 😁
Hi.. Thanks for the info.. May I know what is the time last train depart to Asakusa from Narita Airport 😊
Trains usually stop operating around midnight, but it would be better to leave earlier than that because taxi's can be expensive if you miss the train 😅
2-tickets option looks confusing to me
I know right? 😆
do you have to transfer to another line or it's straight to Asakusa?
straight, just make sure you are on the right train 😁
@@EnjoyingLife. thanks mate! I'm a little scared to get on the wrong one but I think It'll be fine.
Can i use the 72 hour unlimited tokyo subway tickets here?
sadly no, I tried it too but it didn't work because it's not part of the tokyo subway 😅
Thank you! just what we are searching for..
You're welcome! 😃
Very helpful. Thank you 😊
Glad it was helpful!
Paano po pala kung Kuramae Station? Ano pong access line?
Same lang, Sky Access din. Direct route din siya :D
Hello, dito lang kita pede contactkin e. Hihi. Lapit na flight namin po. More question po, isang train lang ba sinakyan mo from narita airport to asakusa station?@@EnjoyingLife.
If we buy a ticket in Klook app, i think they are only selling a base fare.. do we still need to buy another ticket in kansai airport for limited express train (non stop)?
It includes the express fare, you'll be using a machine by the station entrance and a ticket will be released for a non reserved seat, I was sceptical at the beginning as well, but I tried it and I got in. You'll just show the ticket to the staff, it's not for the machine. there is a more detailed instruction on the klook app for it 😁
Hello, may direct train pala going to Asakusa? Pwede magtanong? Pwede dyan na rin kami ride going to Hotel MyStays Asakusa? Sabi kasi sa AI walang direct train going to our hotel? Salamat po sa sagot
Hello, kung tamang Mystays Asakusa nakita ko, yes kaya naman, sakay kayo Sky Access tapos baba sa Asakusa Station (A18), tapos exit kayo sa [Exit A2B] <-- eto yung may elevator, pwede din kayo [Exit A2A] kaso hagdan 😂. after that, may 12minutes walk sa Hotel niyo, use google maps so far di pa naman ako nililigaw nun 😆
Thank you so much po sa sagot 🙏 ah pwede pala yon? Parang nakita ko kasi sa google maps may river e, kaya prang Keisei Main Line to Ueno Station muna tinuro tas change to subway then sa Kuramae Station kami pinabababa?
@@jewelrisk7361 ah, may tulay yun 😄
Ohhhhh naku napakaswerte ko naman at napanood ko yung vlog nyo, thank you po. Sige ganun na lang 😅 thank you thank you. @@EnjoyingLife.

Is the non-reserved seats are first come first served basis? If passengers fill-up all the seat so I have to stand all the way from Kansai airport till Kyoto?
yes, first come first served.
thank you so much this helps a lot!! i was wondering, do you know if I can use my suica card to buy the train ticket?
If you have an IC Card already, you won't need to buy a ticket, just tap away :)
@@EnjoyingLife. thank you so much!!
@@leila1558 You're welcome! 😁
What is the last train from Kansai Airport to Kyoto?
Hello, I'm not sure as I haven't experienced it before, but my family arrived around 10:30pm at Kansai airport and they had to hurry to catch the airport bus from the airport to Kyoto station.
@@EnjoyingLife. Do i have purchase the ticket before arriving? Or any website that i can purchase ticket in advance?
@@edkhoo8238 I once bought a ticket in advance with Klook, but you can always buy it on the day itself if you have enough time.
I don’t understand why there should be two tickets. Is it for the return ticket when you go back to Kansai airport? Or is for one way to Kyoto?
Thank you so much for this video. We just booked our hotel for our first two nights in Japan just across from Asakusa Station. Now we know how to get there after our 12-hour flight. What a relief! Do you have a video about the IC card you mentioned, and how to get one? Thanks again 🙂
You're welcome! I don't have one but you can buy it from the machine, there should be an option there for an IC Card, if not you should be able to buy it from the train office once you land :)
very helpful and informative! thank you for this. I am saving this for my Japan trip on Sept 😊
Glad to hear it! 😊 enjoy your trip! 😁
❤
😊
Thank you for the informative video
You are welcome! 😁
I already have ICOCA Card, can just tap and go ? But how to select seats?
ua-cam.com/video/XmqXX3yPLBc/v-deo.html here's a more detailed explanation on how to buy a ticket for the Haruka train :) since you already have an IC Card, you can just opt to buy an express ticket as shown on the linked video :D
It's the same wether you want to travel to Osaka or Kyoto from Kansai Airport using the JR Haruka
KUYA JB IM ALREADY SUBSCRIBED👹👹👹😈😈😈

From Narita AP We cannot straightaway go to Asakusa by Skiliner. Need a transfer at Ueno - Ginza Line - Correct ?
Yes
This is a great video! I wish I could have known this last June. I didn't even know that you could use machines to buy tickets for the Sky Access. I just go into the ticket office. Also knowing the difference between the orange and blue platforms is helpful. The biggest problem I have is getting back from Nippori to Narita for the return flights. I pay for Sky Access, change at Takasago and end up taking a Rapid. Keisei staff are generally not very helpful, and always try to sell me tickets on the Skyliner service. I've only had 1 good experience with them, out of 5 attempts. Like I said, I wish I had seen this video last June. So now, I just take the bus to and from Tokyo Station. It's more straightforward.
I kinda get why they kept offering you the skyliner, it's a direct route to the airport from that area though a little more expensive. I hope this becomes helpful the next time you return to Japan. Oh and here is a tip, the sky access is basically a local train too, if you ever have a morning flight out from Haneda this line will be too much of a hassle. I experienced it first hand last May, I had a noon flight from Haneda to Osaka, I left very early and waited for the sky access from Asakusa Station and oh man, the train was JAM PACKED with commuters, I waited a little over 1hr and still I had to squezz and push myself in the train. My point is, sky Access in the morning going to Haneda is gonna be tough especially with big luggages. Just incase you have a morning flight out from Haneda 😆
@@EnjoyingLife.oh thanks for the information. I have a noon flight from narita to jakarta (around 11 AM). I stay in APA hotel asakusa. Do you have any recommendation?
@@ridhamuldina6938 If it's Narita then you're good, plus since you're in APA if i remember correctly exit A2B is just across from the hotel where the Elevator is located going down to the station hahaha
When you purchase a one way ticket, do two tickets come out? Or is there another ticket you have to get in order to feed the tickets into the machine?
Hello, if you choose to get the option limited express ticket + basic fare ticket, you should get 2 tickets from the machine. 😀
Very helpful thank you!!!
Glad it helps! 😁
Hi. Thank you for this detailed video. I have a question though. I have to stop at A12 (Takaracho Station) as per google maps however, I noticed in your video that there is no button for A12. Which button should I press to arrive on this stop?
at around 1:20 you can see an option to search by station name :) now if you have an IC Card you don't need to worry about a ticket, just tap your card at the gate and enter, make sure you're on the right train and just get off at A12 :)
@@EnjoyingLife. I'm planning to buy the pasmo passport though. I'll just do this then so I can just easily swipe and proceed to the station. Thanks :)
@@ddu6586 Enjoy your trip!
@@EnjoyingLife. thank you so much
@@ddu6586 You're welcome! ^_^
Thanks for this amazing video! Do you think that I should buy a ticket for my 5 months old baby? I have seen no ages for ‘childs’.. thanks!
Thank you for the feedback! 😁 There is an option for a child ticket, I am just not sure about infant ticket. I think it would be best to inquire with a staff regarding the said ticket, it will also help you to know if you will need an infant ticket whenever you ride a train or if it's free 😃 Chances are it'll be free, but again please inquire with a staff to be more certain 😁
Great video! But I just wanted to check if it is necessary to get a JR pass in order to get on the Narita Sky Access?
no need, it's not JR
did you need to change to any trains or is this a direct one to asakusa
Direct 😃 just make sure you are on the right train 😆😁
