are you listening to your marketing people again that did try showing us the details not this kind of BS
try showing the actual product!
Would anyone consider this boat to be a relatively dry ride in a chop? Also, have you noticed any floor or decks creaking as you walk around (my friends excel bay creaks as you walk & sounds cheap/makes noise)
Where the videos of the FSX 19 and 21 wanna see a comparison
Awesome looking boat but with it had a better front vee.
Awesome boats but no vee means rough slapping ride.
hey blondie you see plenty of real aluminum boats on the saltwater just look at all the true working government boats, dredge operation support boats, etc nice script reading but y'all don't know squat.
No vee means rough ride
can i get the wife to
AHHHHH I dream of this boat.. Looking to get one I can take the family out on at local (N. Georgia) lakes to hang out & play, but still fish local lakes and rivers... also we go to Florida 3 times a year and would LOVE to have this for our trips.
I need to find a way to access the battery compartment from the front if possible. Third battery in front needs to be replaced
The draft is twelve inches that's stupid that defeats the purpose of having an aluminum boat
how does the T Top stabilize the center console? I have a 2021 23 Mag Bay and the center console flexes A LOT, tons of stress cracks already. With the front legs landing on this console...I can't figure out how it stays there???
👍🙏❤️
How does it do with a 350 or larger? Is 23 as long as they come?
I have a 23 fusion with a 175 SHO. I absolutely couldn't imagine anything larger than a 250 SHO. With trimming it, mine will hit 50 and consistently run high 40s with the 175 sho, and I'm a novice, only taken her out 3 times. IDK, maybe someone more experienced would want more speed, but I actually prefer cruising at abt 35-40 lol.
I love the squished stern!
It ain't no Gator Trax , but probably cheaper
My concern too. I had a 20 foot Alumacraft bay boat with the semi-vee and it was rough riding in chop.
Having a t-top is great but you've missed the mark on having the cushions, just use seadek. Forward seating is good, but where are you going to store it while you fish and then back and pick someone up. Having had this setup you either take it with you or leave it at the dock. Interesting though.
Looks like it’s laid out just like a skeeter sx bay boat
how much would it cost with the t-top?
These are beautiful boats and there seems to be zero issues with them… What’s with all the haters? Glad you like your particular brand of boat but why be so insecure that you have to go and $h!t on another quality American brand??? These are the same people that built NauticStar, they know how to build top tier boats and they have done it again with these.
I wish!
So…I took the bait, bought the 20XB. Performance wise it’s impressive. The fit and finish from the factory left some area for improvement. The dealer I purchased it from must have been feeling some pressure from all the new boat orders they had been getting. The installation of the cockpit fish finder was shit. The hole cut to mount the unit looked like it had been cut with a chainsaw. Allowed rain to enter the counsel and the splice for the power feed eroded in a week and broke. I when I agreed to purchase the boat I had the Raptors installed by the dealer. Battery storage had about 2/3 cup of aluminum shavings in it from the mounting job. The cockpit console paint has several air bubbles under the paint. We will see how they respond…but like I said performance and handling is amazing
I just picked up my 2022 Avid 20XB, it is a dime like my boy says. So nice…massive fishing deck…and it flys and handles like no other aluminum boat I’ve ever drove or ridden in. In fact if you close your eyes it feels like a glass boat.
As as 21 year owner of a 16 foot flats boat this looks interesting. But, you lost me with the corners in your live wells. You gota take the corners out of the live wells. Looks more like a big flats boat than a bay boat, I like that. Good luck with it.
Very nice looking boat, I'm looking at them but I did not know they were such a new company only a year old. That scares me
Are the length measurements to the very end launch pods in the back? I REALLY am thinking of buying this boat. My only concern with the location of the gas tank which I think is a great idea is what if it leaks? Is it an aluminum or fiberglass gas tank?
Interested in this however I'll primarily be using in rivers and lakes, with some rough choppy waters at times. How well does it do in tough conditions or it only designed for flats and shallow salt waters?
Are bay boats only meant for shallow salt water.. or can use in lakes and rivers as well? And how would it handle rough waters and chops?
Hey man, most bay boats are made primarily for bays, sounds, and salt water rivers like the Intercoastal Waterway. However, they are also very popular for lakes and even in some big rivers. Avids are aluminum which makes it better for rivers and lakes (both are more prone to rocks) in case you hit something. In a traditional fiberglass boat, you could damage the hull pretty badly by hitting a rock in a river. With aluminum, your chances of damaging the hull beyond a scratch and maybe a small dent are slim. If you're in a river in a fiberglass boat you need to be sure there aren't any rocks. In an aluminum boat you don't really have to worry about the hull as much, but obviously you can only go where an outboard motor can go, so that still limits your abilities in rivers. Downside of aluminum is that it will ride rougher on the chop. Aluminum bay boats haven't really made it into the mainstream boat market yet, however Avid's seem to get pretty good reviews in terms of their ride. Most reviews I've seen said that it's pretty close to a fiberglass bay boat, but not quite. So the pros are - good for rivers and lakes where rocks might be a concern. Also it's less maintenance long term than a fiberglass hull. Cons - won't ride as smoothly as a fiberglass bay boat, but Avid's are supposed to be pretty nice for aluminum. Deep water chop on an Avid would probably be a little rough, but it would be rough in a fiberglass bay boat as well. You'd need a deeper V hull to take on real chop. In rough waters I would guess that you'd probably get a little wet on any bay boat depending on your speed.
How is the ride in chop? I am a little concerned with the semi vee hull that it won't cut through chop good.
That's my concern too. But I'm only doing lakes and rivers.
Have one and it don't cut for anything! If there's 1.5footers you just bounce but other than that it's a really really really nice boat
@@bradenb9762 which model do you have?
I love this boat . very clean looking and love the 250 on it needs 2 power poles and would be a prefect boat but well done . thank you for showing us i want one bad.
Saw this boat in person at the boat show and it was a jaw dropper for me absolutely perfection
Wtf 34 gallons isn't shit
Do your boats have self bailing hulls?
Costs?? I am in the market for a new flats boat. RM
Lol looks exactly like a vexus. Bet they have the same problems.
What kind of speed are you getting with this boat with the 115 SHO?
Looks like a Vexus
It ain't no Gator Trax Strike
It’s cool but probably 70 grand
Actually it’s only about 50 with most of the options shown. Relatively cheap compared to a glass boat of the same size with the same options.
I have the Avid 19FS for almost a year now. Zero issues zero recalls zero warranty claims. It rides like a bass boat handles like one too. Very happy with it. Built in Mississippi by hard working Americans
What is the hull thickness? Are the sides the same thickness?
How much as is?
We got ours for 33,000. With some options
why not a 225 or even a 250 rating?? size is ok for that HP?
We need a factory tour.
You guys really need to up that fuel cap. 50-55gals
Yeah 32 gals is a little low for a tournament boat.
Looks better than the Vexus paint scheme!
Very skinny draft of 11" 🤣🤣😅🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😂😂.......
Less than a foot is excellent for a bay boat, what is so funny?
" By fishermer for fishermen " heard that a thousand times . You want the best there is , talk to Kent Saxon at Gator Trax and design your dream boat . Tops in materials and workmanship ,customer service is second to none
