Nice 👌🏻 ..was there last wkend over the (chilly) May bank hols 🔊🔥😎
I can’t hear a thing.
I've been trying to look for the exact same one lol
Thanks for the video👍... I’ve been there once in 2018 I think and looking forward to go there again next month... I can’t wait 😀. God bless you ✝️
Looks very nice.Enjoyed the video.Thank you
This might seem a little late but I got the olive one!!!😎
And i oop sksks
Hello, it should takes about 3 minutes on average to prime / start burning through the lower holes. But I would just put on the pot / mess tin as soon as you start it up. I mean putting the pot / mess tin on early isn't going to effect the the burner adversely. In fact I am pretty sure you will get a faster cook time, maximize your use of the fuel and the burner will still prime regardless. Thanks for sharing
Looked a canny campsite, nice and quiet and good to see you did not get wet this time. The toilet blocks looked nice and clean, which is what you want on a 4 day camp and got to say it, you did a great job with those steaks, my favorite food! Good idea from Lezley with the none sip under mat, I may look at that myself, cheers Alan
Wow I wish I had one 🤗 glad u like it 🤗🤗🤗
Looked like you had lovely weather!I have enjoyed many wonderful wild camps on Dartmoor over the years its such a beautiful place,it's been awhile since I have been there thanks for showing us around.ATB Ana
Thinking of buying a Galaxy 300 for motorbike camping trips. Seems to be well designed for this?
The Galaxy 300 is a great tent. Ideal for motorbike camping (too heavy for backpacking unless you're with a group and can share the weight). Ideal if you're tent bound because of the weather as you can stand up straight in the front part making it very comfortable. You could probably bring your motorbike into the front part and still have room to cook etc. I hope this helps. ATB Paul
Great video thanks for sharing, subbed your channel
thank you for watching and the sub. Highly recommend the show. ATB Paul
POLPERRO, lovely little old time Cornish fishing village that used to have horse drawn carts to take people in and out, been there many times and I do not recognise your shot of that big carpark next to a river !
Thank you for watching. It was a lovely place. ATB Paul
Dartmoor is a gem. It looked like you had some really wonderful conditions for enjoying it. I take it you got along with the DofE campers after. All the best. Mark
Had a great week with wonderful weather. DofE campers were all well behaved and polite. It was great to see them. ATB Paul
@@plodderoutdoors7794 Hey that's good Paul - just what you want.
I use that non slip matting bit under the reflective & a bit under the air mat, can get it from the pound shop
Thank you Lezley. I'll give that a try. ATB Paul
Brilliant !
Love your channel you go girl.ATB Ana
@@AGirlGoneWild thanks im just looking at yours lol
Thanks Lezley x ATB Ana
Hi mate. Looks like you had a good walk out with ya little fella. Hope you had a good camp mi friend. ATB Andy 🇬🇧 👍 ☕
Had a good time. Very lucky with the weather. ATB Paul
Is it possible to use this tent without the porch groundsheet?
Yes it is. I just put down a groundsheet (not included with the tent) for comfort and convenience. Keeps the area dry, don't need to wear shoes, can put down the dogs blanket without it getting damp. ATB Paul.
someone invented a utility called fork that is used to take the meat and other types of food out of the pan
You captured some great lightening strikes there, love a good thunder storm 👍
It was amazing. ATB Paul.
Hi mate 😁 👍. Love to sit out an just watching the lighting. An yes it's better at night. 10/10. ATB Andy 🇬🇧 👍 ☕
It was a spectacular show by Mother Nature. ATB Paul.
I can honestly say that was the best video on The Bushcraft Show I have seen to date, you filmed the show, for those of us who couldn't make it, and not yourself, unlike most YT videos, thank you for your efforts, you have a new Sub.
Thank you for watching. It was a great show, as usual. I'd like to think my videos are a bit candid - warts and all. ATB Paul
@@plodderoutdoors7794 It's a show I will attend, have you heard of The Wilderness Gathering, held in Wiltshire during August, the venue is a Buffalo/Bison and Elk farm, well worth a visit, thank you Paul, atb Paul.
@@neanderthaloutdoors9202 I've not heard of The Wilderness Gathering but I'll definitely look into it. Thank you for letting me know about it. ATB Paul
@@plodderoutdoors7794 atb to you and maybe see you there 👍
Hello. Nice travel with you. Amazing video. Thank you. 👍👍👍 and subscribe from me. I am already with you, are you?😉
Great vid mate,
Thank you for watching. It was a great weekend. ATB Paul
You got some canny weather for the show mind and 7 hours on the road would have killed me, I hate driving. I never realised how big this show was, amazing turn out of people and stalls. Real good to see the kids get involved as well, real hands on feel to a lot of the activities. Also good to see there was plenty going on in the evening as well, the fire performer was very impressive and very effective as it got dark, cheers Alan
Well worth a visit. ATB Paul
looks a great show!!
why buy heat treated steel knives and use them as fire pokers???? Like running fingernails down a blackboard in my book
This is what I'm looking for! Unfortunately, I couldn't find anywhere in my area great video, liked and subscribed!
Bought mine online from amazon uk (seller WildBounds). Thanks for the sub. ATB Paul.
Good review, interesting results 👍
I've just read up the technical info on the Hydro Flask website and it states; "TempShield™ double wall insulation protects temperature from outside elements. Cold stays icy cold up to 24 hours. Hot stays steaming hot up to 6 hours. No Sweat.". So perhaps it's not so bad after all. Thanks for watching. ATB Paul.
Evening buddy 😁. Sorry its not worked the way you wanted to. Send em a email to ask them about it an link your video. Ya never no they may send you an other one. Thanks for sharing an ya time buddy ATB Andy

Nice video!
be interesting to do a follow up review after a god use, i go through loads of thermos each year lol, i drop them all the time and bust the vacuum seal lol, but then i do drink a lot of tea
I hope to do another short video soon after using it in earnest. ATB Paul.
Evening buddy 😁. Bet ya can't wait to try it out.. Lol. Hope it works for ya. Thanks for sharing mate. ATVB Andy
Have you tried using a lower percentage grade of alcohol? That should lower the intensity of the heat some. I've used everything from 91% to 70% rubbing alcohol and the 70% does produce less heat,
I haven't tried that but I will. Thank you for the tip. Have a great new year. ATB Paul.
@@plodderoutdoors7794 Thanks for your prompt reply to my comment. I'll have a great new year if you'll do the same mate.
Very nice!
Thank you for watching. Can't wait to go back !! ATB Paul
Beautiful shots there Paul👍 stunning😊
Thank you. The Lake District is beautiful. But there are so many other fantastic places in the UK to visit. Dartmoor is definitely on my list. ATB Paul.
Evening buddy 😁. That's a good bit of kit. Looking forward to seeing your next video. ATVB Andy
Looking forward to using it. Light weight and compact. Thanks for watching. ATB Paul.
I've just get myself a pair of this karimor after watching ur video and looking forward to see next video about this pair of boots. Cheers mate.
I've been really pleased with these boots. They are very comfortable. I hope to do a review after using them for a year which is not far off now. Thank you for watching. ATB Paul.
@@plodderoutdoors7794 alright. Looking forward for the video and thank you in advance. 😀
Những bức tranh quá đẹp mắt Nice video
Thank you for watching. ATB Paul.
Never been there but that looks a stunning place, beautiful scenery, all the best
Beautiful scenery and a great walk. Thank you for watching. ATB Paul.
Mrs Metalmans favorite lake/walk and we always park at the farm at the other side of the lake, £4 all day. Last time we were there we did not walk through the tunnel as that side of the lake was closed off due to nesting birds. Lamb pie sounds good to me, cannot beat a bit of lamb and to be fair. I will eat any pie lol. I got that low level book after you posted it on instagram and it's pretty good to be fair. The thought of a 9/10 hour drive would drive me mad, rather you than me! Cheers Alan
Thank you for the parking tip. I found the book useful on my trip. Yes a long journey but worth it. Thank you for watching. ATB Paul.
You got some great shots there and I bet they made the long trip up so worth it. Cheers Alan
Used my Nikon DSLR for these photos. It was well worth the long trip. ATB Paul.
Very nice pictures thanks for sharing 👍😎

My last trip to the lakes was to Buttermere in April 2011, a group of us stayed at the YHA there , on the sunday i bimbled around the lake, the water was dead flat atb Barry
Some great views of the surrounding fells. Weather brightened up towards the end of the walk. Thank you for watching, much appreciated. ATB Paul.
Hi Paul, really enjoyed the videos, i must admit that the lakes are my all time favourite places to walk & camp, during my time with the local outdoor club we went there almost every yr for the long weekends, must have bimbled 100's of miles there over the yrs, as for sitting in the tent in the rain, a mate & myself went to climb Snowdon back in 2010, we travelled up to Beddgelert on the friday, & then sat in the tent for most of the saturday as it lashed down for over 17 hrs solid lol atb Barry PS. is your camera in one of those waterproof cases, if so that might explain the low sound quality that sometimes happens
Hi Barry, the action camera I use is the Apeman A66. It's a Chinese knock-off of a Gro Pro. It comes with 2 cases. One is completely sealed and enables you to submerge the camera under water. The other case, which I was using, was similar but had a slot either side to enable the built in microphone to pick up external sound, however it is prone to that whistling sound when windy. The Lake District is a magical place and I will definitely be returning. Thank you for watching. ATB Paul.
Evening buddy 😁. All good weather lol. Nothing like fresh air.. ATB Andy
It was a very wet and windy day but you'e just got to take it in your stride. ATB Paul
A great place to camp. The scenery in that county is off the scale, stunning area.Happy travels to you.
The Lake District is a magical place. I highly recommend the camp site, Church Stile Farm. Thank you for watching. ATB Paul.
That's the Lakes for ya'... Nice 1 minute and belting down the next lol 👍
So very true. The weather didn't stop me doing anything. If you are prepared and have the right gear you'll be OK. Thank you for watching. ATB Paul.
Morning buddy 😁. Nothing like the rain on a camp 😁. Great ta here. The river looks pretty decent, clean. Would be good to have a wild camp there. Hope you enjoy, d your time out. Thanks for your time and sharing buddy. ATB Andy
Thank you for watching. Weather was very changeable, sunny one minute, rain the next. ATB Paul.
