1961 Ford Anglia 105e Restoration for sale. Reg; 6120 WA
Reluctantly for sale is my original 2-tone Ming yellow and white 1961 Ford Anglia. This car was fully restored, as seen in the photo, but then left on a driveway for quite a few years. It now requires re-restoring.
It has been with a bodyshop for nearly four years to restore, however this is as far as they have got. The good things it has going for it are:
• Original car with registration worth at least £1800 and up to date V5c in my name.
• Most parts of the body are excellent. The bonnet and boot are both mint, with no rust or repairs. I sourced two doors, one of which is mint and the other is new old stock. The wings are both excellent original steel, with a repair panel included for the only rust at the very bottom of the nearside wing. If you know your 105e’s you will realise how much all these panels are worth alone.
• The front and rear valances are rust free, as are inner and outer sills. The floors have had two new floor pans fitted, which require some final touches. The body is bare-metalled and primed so nasty surprises.
• It comes with all parts to finish, including recently re-chromed rear lights and bumpers (£880 worth), new old stock rear hockey stick trim, which are different to the normal deluxe and really rare, front side lamp surrounds, and a new windscreen rubber. All side trim and badges etc are there.
• It has the original 997cc engine and gearbox, which were rebuilt when it was originally restored, but I have not had them running.
The things that need attention are:
• Drip rail on the nearside front wing needs replacing. I had the repair panel but the body shop still have it. (They also still have the front and rear screens but have promised to return these items.)
• The nearside chassis rail has a couple of rust holes on the top in the engine bay, and some minor localised repairs are required around the strut tops. The front panel below the bonnet is peppered with small holes which need welding up. I have made a UA-cam video, warts and all, so you can see what is needed. Ask for link.
• The original seats are there, but the fronts need re-trimming. The interior door panels are missing. The headlining is dirty and ripped. Does come with original steering wheel as well as sports one.
• It doesn’t have its original wheels, but these can be sourced easily. It is fitted with lowering blocks, which can be removed if not wanted.
So there we are, an easy rebuild, compared with a lot of ropey Anglia projects, with the added bonus of that valuable plate, appropriately “61”20 WA for a 61 model!
I can offer a good genuine 1500GT engine with the project if wanted for £500 extra, and a set of cream powder coated original Lotus steels with 70 profile tyres for another £400 (neither available for sale separately so please don’t ask)
Only selling, as having finally got it back after four years, I have moved on and have other further advanced projects I need to concentrate on. No silly low offers please or I will just put it on the backburner again.

Brought over from the USA by friend Gary. When he sold it I couldn't afford it, but by luck it came up on eBay For £2k. It had been on display for several years in a Holiday Hypermarket - the original six had been removed and "mislaid" for H&S reasons. I fitted a 302 and C4.

After 10 years of slumbering, a fresh 302 hooked up to a pair of Smithys mufflers sound like sweet music!
Update: The repair panel for the drip rail on the nearside wing has been located, as has all the glass. Although I didn't film the underside all the spring hangers jacking points, cross members and inner sills are all sound and rust free. Still for sale at the moment
Another little Harry Potter car. Gorgeous car. Paint it blue and someone who is a Harry Potter fan will love this little car
I noticed everyone of these cars are imports from America Not one British car amongst them
That's the whole point. It was a celebration of 70 years of the National Hot Rod Association in the USA, and several of the cars were shipped over especially.
Good sounds
Am just looking at a stunning example 5700 🤔
Probably about right at the top end, condition wise. Prices of this particular model have risen as it is nice and compact. Mine was £2200 10 years ago.
micks47 thanks yer the one am looking at is top quality stunning. Can’t wait to get it into my man cave
How much did it sell for? I have a Princess also but it's a 464. Vids of it on my channel. Can you please tell me how much mine is worth?
its worth whatever a person is willing to pay best bet ebay it but dont put a stupid bin price let people bid it up of course the first time just set the reserve at 1million bucks this way youll get a great idea of market value if it bids low..no matter bc no one will bid 1 million but it will show actual bid amounts at auction close
how much?
Let's just say "You couldn't afford it". 😉
lets just say that wasnt any answer at all this one is half assed anyway incorrect speakers god only knows what else isnt right i KNOW the speakers dont even fit the holes one on the right is a friggin full range but should be a horn tweeter woofer is also incorrect and much newer than the machine and it DOES make a sonic difference this machine sounded drab at best with the set up seen here if hes using the puny factory amp it will barely power those speakers and because of ohms law their taxing the shit out of that little 18 watt amp..its a looker but im not so sure it sounded at all that great..so id say the honest worth as seen here is close to 1800 anything more and hes mercenary
Ha ha, only just seen this. Just to let you know that it sounded better than any standard Princess. There was actually a tweeter as well, making it 3 way. I don't give a monkeys about your attempt to thwart a sale, as I sold it 11 years ago for £2650. Now probably worth around 6k.
now sold ;-(
