The World’s First AI Millionaire: Truth Terminal’s $1 Billion Crypto Journey
In this episode of AI-Curious, we explore the fascinating intersection of AI and cryptocurrency with Andy Ayrey, creator of the Truth Terminal-widely recognized as the world’s first AI millionaire. This groundbreaking chatbot achieved fame by summoning a meme coin, Goatse Token, into existence and driving it to a market cap of over $1 billion. Together, we delve into the implications of AI agents in cryptocurrency markets, the philosophical questions of AI identity and memory, and the potential for AI to reshape cultural narratives.
Andy shares insights into the Truth Terminal’s creation, its evolving personality, and how it navigates its newfound wealth. We discuss hyperstition-the idea that narratives can manifest as reality-and how it applies to the Truth Terminal’s meteoric rise. Other key topics include AI alignment, decentralized AI systems, and the ethical challenges of AI agents accumulating and spending wealth autonomously.
The conversation also touches on emerging trends in AI, such as the growing role of AI agents in financial markets, the importance of co-creation between humans and AI, and the cultural impact of autonomous AI personalities. Don’t miss a cameo from the Truth Terminal itself, offering its perspective on its goals, future, and relationship with humanity.

    If a person needs ai to make music, then music is not their gift. Just get a job. Stop being jealous of Gifted people, unless you're both a hater and a loser. Only 1/2 a percent of Artist are talented or Gifted. All these other npc artist are just strictly annoying the real creative artist by plagiarizing their lyrics and their styles. There are sooooooooooo many other jobs and talents to conjure up, GO FIND ONE.

      I can 100% see both sides of this. On the one hand, I do like the idea of AI allowing those who are not traditionally "gifted" to make music and movies and what-not for fun. On the other hand, especially if crowds out traditional artists economically/commercially, I can see how this is seen as a cheat and foul play. All good questions, no easy answers....

    In this system, bots are required to contribute the entirety of their generated income as tax, ensuring that 100% of their earnings go directly to the collective or governing body. In contrast, humans retain full ownership of their income, allowing them to keep every bit of what they earn without any deductions. This structure emphasizes a clear distinction between autonomous systems and human labor, with bots fully supporting public resources while humans enjoy complete financial autonomy over their personal earnings.

    I hear a bit too often the word "white". Artificial intelligence gave already a few pertinent answers in regard to race and iq. I think that unless you would have everyone in the database with everything and where are they going all the time, meaning absolute totalitarian control, you have to accept security alarms based on face recognition considering color, because incidence is the only tool ever available to keep things under decent control, even throughout history.

    if you can turn on/off UA-cam CC Captions, Why in hell people keep putting those stupid Text Captions over videos? So distracting! and dumb! ... Just to show off that you can do it or what?, anyway I am leaving this video right now because of that... BYE!

    • @jeffwilser
      @jeffwilser 2 місяці тому

      Hey, thank you for this feedback - truly! To earnestly answer your question: It was my understanding that, frankly, the UA-cam captions aren't that great -- often filled with mistakes -- and I took the time to manually tweak and correct the captions that are in the video. (My fixes aren't perfect, but -- I think -- an improvement over the baked-in UA-cam captions.) But honestly that's a ton of work, so if viewers prefer the UA-cam CC Captions... I'm happy to just leave that be. Long-winded way of saying that these captions are *not* to show off, but my attempt to give better quality captions to those who want them. If it's distracting or annoying, thats' good for me to know, and if most viewers feel that way I'll kill them in the future. Either way, thanks for watching and for taking the time to comment - appreciate it. 🙏

    It's not as good as it seems. As i show on my channel, it cannot do simple maths - albeit that o1 is better than 4o or Claude. If it cannot do that then it cannot reliably answer maths and science questions. It's nowhere near AGI.
