@Albhino Did you reset trys where you lose? The amount of hitting Sleep Powder, hitting Thunder and the amount of crits is ridicoulous especially in the Elite 4

Sonething im sure you have forgotten during this run ( i guess because of stress and panic lol) is that gyarados had x4 weakness to electric type moves, so thunder was probably gonna kill each time , rhydon has x4 weakness to water type moves, so ofc surf would one shot, and at last charizard has X4 weakness to rock type moves, so yeah he was gonna go down:) vongrats on the run though i was buttclenching the final fight too haha

I like the video but I despise the title. The title is just a lie, you can make the game harder, we aren't asking you to do that but you could... Thus the fastidious nature in me just can't accept this video or give a sub. Just name the video more appropriately.

I have to say that although I did like your video, editing, humor and overall quality, In the end I did find the title quite misleading. I'm not saying you can't make a show out of it, it's just that statement for the title is straight up blantant in this case. That being said, you did quite great on this run! I'm kind of in that thereshold where I'm neither amateur nor pro, so this video came quite as instructive.

I think the NPCs just see ranges & go for potential kill moves. I don't think the NPCs are programmed to combat wonder guard properly

Why Gyarados use surf on Sabrina? Gyarados has bad sp. attack, and all of Sabrina's team have very high sp. defense.. especially Alakazam. That fight would've gone way smoother if you relied on Gyarados' physical instead. Same with Dragonite in the champion battle... Dragon claw is special in gen 3, and Dragonite has 134 attack and adamant nature.. Fly would've OHKO'd Alakazam. Other than that, nice run mate.

weirdly, at least in gen 4, i know PP isn't really as big of an issue as you'd think. between a forced heal allowing you to overlevel if you reallllllly want to before getting pokeballs even and just alot of items found in the main story to increase damage you can actually beat gen 4 without ever using a pokecenter with very little effort ( though does require some planning ). basically saying this challenge doesn't work in gen 4 ( least heart gold the only game i've done this in ) as it's kinda easy to cheese/brtue force it

You could've grinded Magikarp on Kakuna and Metapod in Viridian Forest. There's also an Antidote in a tree when you first enter the forest from the Viridian side.
