Used mower purchase regret now used for spare parts
I’d just mow one way along the curb and make two passes the other direction on the sidewalk side. You have to make 3 passes but make 2 going the same direction. Also, it looks like you’re cutting Bermuda and as far as my experience goes, the stripes don’t last long unless you cut it tall. And Bermuda isn’t supposed to be cut tall at all. If it’s one of your weekly properties, mow it the same direction many times, and the stripes will get darker. Just remember, don’t cut in the same direction too many times because the tires on your mower will leave ruts.
Bermuda definitely doesn’t hold the stripes, I cut at 2 and a half inches to 3 inches and it’s a biweekly I cut it differently directions every time, probably not going to worry about stripes on this yard
Definitely appreciate the info and advice, thanks
No problem! I’m in Oklahoma, and where I’m at, more and more people are starting to want zoysia lawns, so I’ve had to learn how to stripe. It’s easy but to get complicated stripes it’s very difficult.
How did you do it
Mowed over it in the same pattern twice.
Hello, one blade is wrong, all turn in the same direction
Bro i just bought a brand new zero turn cause i got tired of working on my piece of shit craftsman for 40 minutes before cutting my lawn every damn time.... i needed this so damn bad lol
*WINNING*
Wrapping stuff in more duct tape than any mortal man should ever use is not really Learning I don't think
Learning what not to do is still learning 😂
Thanks.. I think
My wife loves you,mr.
Where did you get the shaft coupler from ?
Amazon
Needs a bigger motor they were 40hp
Where did you get the coupler from the pump to the shaft, and what is the star pattern on these called?
I believe I got the pump side off eBay, and the motor side off Amazon, for the pump I had to count the teeth and measure the shaft size and find one that fit, for the motor it was a 1in shaft with 1/4in keystock. Love Joy connections is what I used in the search. Make sure you get the rubber piece that goes between as well
@@Dontlaughitspaidfor-bf8no Ok that helps. Now could you tell me what that star pattern is called, i have the exact same model of skid loader that you had. Thanks in advance!
I just counted the teeth and put that in the search, Lovejoy for a 13 teeth shaft
Or however many teeth it has
7/8" 13 Tooth Splined L-100 Jaw Coupling Half 1-3422-13 This is the description off the one I ordered on eBay maybe you can copy and paste. Happen to find it in my pics. I am not sponsored by them
Should’ve bought an xmark
🤣 everyone has their brand right. I’ve owned them all except for scag over the years and they all break down. This one is around 20 years old and that’s the original drive motor so I would say I got some good use out of it
Газон только портить на таком))
Wow Nice!
I did that same thing to a L-325. 2 cylinder kohler blew up and scrapped it.
What model is that? I have an L-35 i wanted to do this to!
Either a L444 or L445, I can’t remember exactly, and I don’t have it anymore so I can’t go look at it
@@Dontlaughitspaidfor-bf8no but it did have plenty of power?
Comparable power to what it had originally, this was a very small skid loader to begin with only had a 4 foot bucket
@@MrMikehart56 Stock is 30hp... the predator 670 is 22HP but its probably fine. Also there is a good chance the old engine could be repaired...might need rebuilding though should be possible since its iron block, might be cost effective as well... especially since it doesn't look terrible honestly and I've seen terrible looking one run well.
@@Wingnut353 yeah, my L-35 i think is a 30hp, but ive never seen a 22hp in one, so when i saw this video i was impressed....$4500 to rebuild in my area, $700 for a Predator
Honestly can't tell if this is an ai voice or not. Well done, or sorry depending on the answer.
