I don't think aveiros can push of the final timeline, as the gemoro says in Sanhedrin that even if "lo zachu" never the less the geula will come in that final timeline. But before that final timeline out mitzvos can make the geula come earlier "zachu - achishena", & aveiros can push the geula from coming early, rather push to it's timeline. But not further. The Rebbe pointed out several times that we are already "zachu" & we deserve Moshiach, but also it's already after the timeline. Moshiach now!

Bh. 1. In chabad we learn all of Rambam. 2. The belief moshiach is one of the 13 principles of our religion. & The chofeitz Chaim says that it is the most important one of all "עיקר העיקריים " & one must believe & want Moshiach to come now, this is what the Rambam wrote. This that his cassidim went to heresy, that is your personal opinion, but not the Torah opinion, the Torah opinion is not what you decide or other rabbis, it is decided by what the holy Torah wrote, & the holy Torah & the Rambam wrote & that one should love Moshiach & want him to come now, & one should learn about him.

@@hilchosmelochimumilchamose9253 It's not my opinion but that of most of the frum world, led by all the gedolim who represent the Torah opinion, almost all of whom the rebbe shunned or ignored during his lifetime. And thus, Chabad is today largely isolated. The fact that most of his chassidim deified him and also beleive him to be the Moshiach, despite being dead, is pure heresy and against what the Rambam himself writes in hilchos Melachim -- that if he dies, he is 'kesha'ar malchei beis David shemeisu, etc'. And Sanhedrin 98 has no bearing on this discussion, as some apologists wish to say.

Moshe rabbeinu was also only 1 person, & korach had much more people that when agents moshe. So to, there is only 1 moshe in our time - that is the Lubavitcher Rebbe. & The amount of people that don't hold of his rally makes no differences. & most of the gedolim do hold of the Rebbe, I have more then 500 NOT LUBAVITCH gedolim that wrote letters to learn the sefer, I have met with all the roshei Yeshiva in BMG & all Rabbonim of moetzes gedolei hatorah in Israel & in America & ALL engorged the learning of this sefer Dvar Malchus! As you can see in this video & other in my chanel of many NOT LUBAVITCH gedolim that engorged to learn this sefer Dvar Malchus of the Rebbe teaching on Moshiach. And of you look in the Rambam, he does not say "if he dies he is not Moshiach" rather he writes "if he gets KILLED" if you go to brisk Yeshiva they'll teach you how to learn Rambam with grate diyuk. & in Sanhedrin is says that Moshiach CAN be from those how died. May we merit to love every Jew, just as Rabbi Chaim ozer & reb Chaim brisker got along with the Rebbe Rashab & Rebbe Rayatz & did not hold of having Sinas chinam, & they loved & got along with the Lubavitcher rebbe's & chassidim, my you go in there wasy!

He does not say "neherag" at all there. Of course the Rambam also says that to be Moshiach, one has to have "fought the battles of Hashem (i.e., physical battles), and bring back all the Jews to Eretz Yisrael, and build the 3rd Beis HaMikdash." The Rebbe did none of this, so his being a candidate for "Moshiach" is laughable at best. And to compare him with Moshe is ludicrous. There were countless gedolim in his time that were greater than he was. Also, the Rashba says Moshiach will be revealed in Eretz Yisrael, a placw where the rebbe never even visited!! And the Gemara in Sanhedrin means something else entirely, as emerges from both peshatim of Rashi there, it means 'if he could be someone from the dead, it would be ...'

Sure it's important!!! the Rebbe instructed that the fastest way to bring Moshiach is by learning about it. & The Rebbe himself handed out on 15 iyar 5751 to every single person a booklets "Dvar Malchus chiduahim ubiurim behilchos Melochim chapters 11-12" inorder to encourage the learning of his teachings on this chapters of the Rambam.
