The GOAT 🐐

The first Patriots game i ever watched was the 1985 Super Bowl against the Chicago Bears, i was 8 years old. Then after that, I endured so many years of ridicule from friends about how crappy they were and not to mention just trying to buy their merch was hard because most stores only sold the winning teams merchandise (that's what Foot Locker said to me once 🤣) Those years of bottom feeding, up until the year coach, Pete Carol, and Drew Bledsoe got together and then, things really started to pick up from there. Like so many others, i have so many great memories of watching The New England Patriots. Watching them overcome impossible odds and defying all the critics. While there were so many great Super Bowl wins I'll never ever get over that loss to the Giants during the oh so close perfect season. I just wish Randy would've got one ring man. Oh well, he's going to get a ring of honor at least. Thanks for sharing these memories of the great Tom Brady and the Patriots with us Sick Beats.

That's Super Bowl comeback against the Atlanta Falcons was by far the greatest comeback ever. If you don't watch football you don't realize how difficult it is, not only to score a touchdown, but then to get two 2-point conversions. Then get the ball in overtime and drive down and score another touchdown. Tom Brady is by far the greatest quarterback ever. And when you watch videos like this, you realize he did it with many different receivers

Some people act like all the Bad Boys did was go out there and punch people in the face game over they win. Isiah was one of the best point guards ever, the Pistons drafted Rodman when no one thought of doing it and one of the best rebounders ever, and Joe Dumars in the HOF. That's three in the HOF right there. Laimbeer was a great player as well. The Pistons could play, and they were tough and if not for a phantom foul on Laimbeer in the first Laker series they would have won three in a row.

It is sad that such a talented player as Lambier resorted to such dirty playing. He was a great rebounder, great outside shooter, and tough defender. Instead he will be remembered for intentionally trying to end careers. Very malicious human being. Should have been given a lifetime ban.

I'll never forget Bird trying to step on Laimbeers ankle from the side when Laimbeer was on the ground tangled with other Celtics and Bird went for a killshot on Laimbeers ankle.

The Celtics got lucky in the fourth quarter of the "Bird stole the ball" 1987 Eastern Conference Finals game, when the Pistons leading scorer Adrian Dantley collided with Vinnie Johnson, and couldn't play the rest of the game. Vinnie was okay though, as he was as solid as the Brooklyn Bridge . Had he not missed the remaining fourth quarter minutes and played effectively like he had been playing, the Pistons would have won by 6-8 points and eliminated the Celtics.

I felt like crying when I hit a game-winner in 2k and that shit didn’t matter.
