This was my 1st Year recital on Bass Trombone last year at the NZ School of Music. I am accompanied by Gabriela Glapska. I firstly performed Zwei Phantasiestucke by Eduard Lassen and played Concertante Allegro by Alexei Lebedev. Zwei Phantasie features two movements: Andacht and Abendreigan. Please excuse the wrong info about the pieces, I talk about halfway through, was incredibly nervous haha...

We are the Quad Sticks, This is our audition for the GLO Online Buskers Competition. We are playing "Mr Sandman" by The Chordettes arranged for brass quartet and drums by Jack Bewley. After Mr Sandman, we also play Cantina Band by John Williams. We are made up of 4 Trombones and a Drummer. (left to right) We are Lachlan Spence, Leo Read, James Manktelow, Jack Bewley and Liam Bewley
Very nicely done. Reminds me of the colliery bands of the UK. Probably due to the type of vibrato used.. Interesting that there are only cornets and flugles but no trumpets. Much mellower sound. Nice locked in chords in many places. The phrasing was very well done. Not surprised they were the overall winners.
Brass Bands in NZ don't usually have trumpets. So yeah mostly just the cornets/flugels etc.... Appreciate the kind words though
