Interesting how age is the #1 risk factor for CVD and dementia. So it seems they are not "diseases", but rather just the accumulation of damage until it breaks or symptoms appear. What is the typical cost of the treatment at Ambrosia? For example, young-plasma in Atlanta charges $8k for 7 units every 3 months. Also, don't the parabiosis studies suggest it's not so much that young blood is good, but rather, the old blood contains inhibitory signals that is the problem? If so, wouldn't donating blood 2x a year be a low-cost alternative to generate fresh blood? Finally haven't the recent studies shown no benefit? ex. *NCT02256306*? PLasma for Alzheimer SymptoM Amelioration Study, or the study on the small molecule (AKST4290) in Age-Related Macular Degeneration and GRF/AKST6019 on Alzheimer’s Disease?
