There is a lot i can say about this video that isnt good at all, but im going to try to remain positive and give constructive feedback. If this is just a personal project for yourself and friends, and/or you dont care about youtube growth then keep up the good work! Nothing wrong with a personal project. However if youre looking to grow and eventually make money off of youtube pretty much everything needs to be improved. From title and thumbnail, to your actual gameplay and editing. I would recommend looking up videos here on youtube on how to properly title and thumbnail your videos to looking up videos on how to get batter at apex. Best of luck on what ever your goals are!
I like the raw footage. I’m not putting much effort into editing any of these videos. This is purely a database I’m building that I can use to make edits in the future with compilations. But I don’t care to just crop and show the good without the bad.
@@Cavagarist lol yeah it’s definitely not the usual but I’ve ran with it a couple times. It was a really rough start when I accidentally picked up the Nemises and dropped the mozams. That pathfinder would have been dropped sooner but we were a bit all over the place.
I rebuilt the trans. Found a damaged thrust washer at the end of the housing where the drive shaft connects. Also found the snap ring for 3rd and 4th has a tendency to pop out, thus preventing pressure from being distributed properly for those gears. So upgraded that to a spiral snap ring.
I just bought a van just like this I’d love to discuss some troubleshooting myself if you wouldn’t mind. I can’t find much info about this type of van online
Did you try changing the transmission control solenoid? You have to drop the transmission pan to change it. Also know as a transmission shift solenoid.
@@cianharnish5425 sure you have 12v constant on the battery and it’s giving the proper amperage? Maybe try jumper cables to another car and see. Volt meter will help you determine if it’s got enough volts. Those big trucks sometimes need 500 cold cranking amps just to turn over. Testing with a new battery or another vehicle cl safely connected can rule out that possible problem
Yep. I was having the same problem and it turned out to be the transmission output speed sensor was loose. I ended up replacing all of the vehicle speed sensors and it shifts real smooooooth now.
Donyou install the transmission with the torque converter in the transmission or you install the torque converter on the fly wheel and slide the tranny in? Reason im asking is if i install my transmission with the torque converter already in the transmission that leaves me almost no room to screw the torque converter on the flywheel and make it almost impossible to turn the flywheel to be able to screw all 4 bolts (doing it on a 91 f250 7.3 if that matters)
You install the torque converter in the transmission than bolt it to the engine. You’ll have to use the peek hole of the transmission to put each torque converter bolt on one by one. Use a wrench on the front of the engine to rotate the crank. This will spin so you can align and fasten the flywheel to the torque converter.
Have you finished restoring this truck?
I see you were in a dry spell of wins lol. Tsunami's didnt help with that 😁

Did you fix it ??
Your cool!
Thanks G. Come play sometime.
Hi
What’s up buddy?
Sry for interupting an old video but ehhhh. that starter has some serious power, or the compression is gone
Will this stop the truck from starting from the key?
Shouldn’t. Sounds like an ignition key or column issue.
@@SchlongVelez yeah my 1987 f250 you turn the key and the dash lights go dim but nothing happens not even a click from the solenoid.

Looking to squad up?
95 f150 4x4 with the same problems changing the at filter and some solenoids in the trans if anyone know anything lmk
so what the fucking wrong with it
Try spraying carb cleaner or engine starter down the throat of the carbs as you are starting it
Did u fix it
thanks for a simple quick how to
Shift solenoid out for 3rd gear ⚙️
Where is that port and what’s the gauge your using?
Have you ever seen this unit connected to an e4od?
do you realize its a vac leak and the dirt will get sucked into your engine?
Usually the leaf spring brackets are the first to go
