I got theese brown stains on mine and the hurricane covers are so dirty, my second way over priced trailer..( crappy park , slum lord , but i own the trailor. I hate the jalousy windos just going to caulk them shut, then put streyfoam insulation pannels in to insuulate them more , ( florida) and im using the slat cliset doors cut down to use as shutters on inside lol. Nothing wrong with having a trailer, its a place to live, you cant make a silk purse out of a sows ear ,..i told that person but i can slap some makeup on that pig, and make it pretty, lol, to fix " flaws" inside, ( after fixed roof leak) and ugly walls, and counters, and a floor, i used elmers glue and torn up paper bag contrator paper, it kinda looks like stone, but then painted it and it looks like a pattern texture wall and celing, lol.. i used contact paper on counters , sealed with poly urethane and one with resin..i painted my sink with bronce spray paint and poly sealed several times, still good after a year, i bought exterior paint off a person who had extra left from getting their regular house painted.. ( cant say i like baby blue, but, paired with lt brown trim will be ok..( was color scheem for everything at one time..id prefer sage green and tan..smh but 125 for 2 five gallons of blue beats Cost of sage green..lol, i painted my celing fan faux wood , and did a paln stencil that now it looks carved.. used closet slat doors over reg doors ot looks good i made my ugly wood cabinets a seafoam and tourqouse with fish knobs ( mine is done in fla kinda sea themed..seashells around bathroom mirrors , piece by piece..mostly thrift store or dollar tree..who says tailors cant be nice, im saving for dry wall lol.

Thank goodness for mobile homes, eh? I'm originally from Long Island, NY [shudder] where small cottages in bad neighborhoods start at about $400K with 5-figure property taxes. I lived in a studio apartment and saved my money and bought 27 acres in KY, and then bought a move-in ready used MH for $12K....been living rent/mortgage-free for the last 23 years and LOVING it!! I can live on practically nothing, and still save money! Glad to see others like yourself doing similar and leading the truly good life!

I paid $500. For my 1969 2br, 1ba. Mobile the walls were literally brown from smoking. But, once I got them cleaned wow! The ceiling was totally in tact (1969) so I left them. the panel walls were So- so. I only had to replace 2 sections of the subfloor. The place had only 2 previous owners, which I'm guessing the original owners took very good care of it. I have done all of the work myself at 64 y/o except the carpet in the living room. It is shabby beach chic, and a haven fit for a mermaid. I live on an island in northern Washington state so, it fits. I am not tackling the outside as I only pay $32.00 property tax. 🤐 it has zillowed at $52.000, (surrre?) At my age the money isn't as important as the peace of mind and pride of ownership. I understand wanting to be debt-free I am debt free no charge cards I live within my means I live in a trailer park I own my home this mobile home park is the cheapest 400 a month on well water and we pay our utilities which is gas and electric which I'm on a payment plan of $89 a month we bought this fixer upper 9 years ago thank you for your video

We got our double wide for "free" we did all the work to tear it down, move it, set up, and some remodel it. The people we got it from just wanted us to remove the old septic and water lines and clean up where the double wide was sitting. Best thing we did. We have no bills and debt free! Never listen to the ones that judge. My own family talked junk about how we got our home.

I've got a vintage early 70's ?very wide single mobile home someone can take for free. Needs total gutting down to the frame. I think it's still on axles & wheels.

Turned out amazing. What a difference. Just gave my husband and I a great idea for our upcoming renovations.

Late to the party but how many 5 gallon buckets did you need? Did you do 1 coat or 2? What paint brand did you use? We are doing ours this summer and just want to see without doing all the math right now lol

Im glad to see you posting, looks like you all have gone through some life changes with moving as well.Your new place is going to be beautiful for you and the kids.Command strips work good they have different weights for things.If you want to do a small instant change id put that runner by the stove area and take one or both of your plants into the kitchen.White is a blank canvas so anything you do will be good! One great tip: only keep enough plates & sivlerware to last one whole day and do not keep extra ladles & spatulas - this forces daily cleaning cuz you cannot cook or eat. Mosty it makes clean up quick cuz its only one day of plates & utensils instead of... 3 days.
