Sam and Anson were such gentlemen. Saw them a few times and talked to them each time. Both great lovers of music and musicians.

The first time he played the cabaret lounge at Harrah's in Lake Tahoe I went to 6 of his shows. A two drink minimum..............a couple beers for maybe three bucks. One of the coolest show. A small venue and a great live band.

The first 2 records I purchased were Fresh Cream with Eric Clapton, Winds of Change with Eric Burden & the Animals; I was about 18 then I am 75 now & through those years I listened to many blues artists & still love the Blues genera today. This typifies the genera with coruscating guitar & harp!

thanks. back in 1965, listened to small radio station that played nothing but the blues. i got tyrned on to this great music, and im still with the Blues. 2024.. the joy,the pain, the hurt, the loney times, the sorrow. all here.. life my friends. friends would often ask why do you listen to that music, i say its life.and if you dont know the Blues,you dont know shit...

This clip goes back 7 years, so I don't expect anyone to see this ...but...I have to comment. What is the origin of this song? Seems like an old folk song (Irish/English).....dont understand why this doesnt get more attention. As good as anything he's done in his long career. Very moving, Just fantastic...thank you Eric Burdon followed you since I first heard from you in the States.
