It takes some skill to drive these classic rig. How many speed transmission is that?
@@ronaldhagadorn5512 true! This one is a 13 speed. 5 on low range then 4 on high range that you can split the ones on high side

Don't feel like the Lone Ranger when it comes to running out of patience with a project vehicle.I have a 55 Chevy in my shop that im in the middle of walking away for a bit.

Loved it. im 62 and still go back to where i played as a young man and a teen in the 70's. always makes me feel at home. like a peace comes over me. my mom and dad run through my head and friends i had back then, and are all old like me now lol.but i always feel like a child every time i go back. always looking for something i might have left or lost that i can take home with me now. thank you for this video. means alot.

Should of made it swivel front to back the u don't have to keep forks level.
Truck coming together nicely. On those tie rod or drag link ends if you strike the end of the Arm they usually drop out pretty easily. TGP

Not putting your truck down but how come you have Kenworth fuel tanks and the grab handles on your Peterbilt?
@@glennoliphint8691 those grab handles were homemade and the fuel tanks and grab handles came on the truck. When I got it. Those dorky grab handles are going to get smashed off of there someday and replace with stack hangers like it's supposed to be. Stay tuned. Thanks for the comment

@@charlesferebee263 oh i know exactly what your talking about. I had a 1673, 1674 and a 1693 I love them engines and the sound. The 3400 series quieted down that rattle a lot! Your right on that I wish I was around in the good old days. Thanks!

Where are you? In Pennsylvania? My aunt and uncle live out there. He just bought a new 389. He hauls methanol corn in his hopper trailer to the refineries in the area.
