Covered how to install cables just not how to hide excess cables. Every one has a preference on how to tuck cables but the way this version does it is to route cable to back seats - unfortunately as I have kids so I don’t usually use the back seat plugs as they kick it hence will let you all decide how to route your cable. That said the important part - the obd plug is covered :) Great little puck actually. I quite like it

I upgraded it a couple times then I stopped bothering as I mainly just tread speed and it’s been right still. And I realised the km righted itself after 1 update as well.

@ thanks for the feedback. i'm not sure there have been two different products/hardware from the market, as I saw one in Aliexpress that seems to have signals/blinker indicator ring much bigger than this one, almost utilising the whole diameter of the unit.

Really eyes of the beholder. Hasn’t fallen off and has been working well. But depends if u like it if you ask if it’s worth it. What you definitely need to do is to replace the original tape with automotive tape for it to stay on.

@@kelvindownunder I ended up doing something similar. Most of the cable is hidden, there is a bit left hanging just around the wheel that I couldn’t fully hide, but the rest is great

Well yeah the halo one just fits genuinely a lot better especially in the fact that it still has zero peeling after 2 years . Where as the other one started peeling within the year.

No I personally didn’t notice anything at all. Perfectly fine and no impact for me.

The clips are just slip on. Not stuck and can easily removed. It just slips in gap between the trim and glass. I can put some pictures on Instagram for you

Hmm interesting where do you see non English? The item plugs in laptop via usb C on the puck. But the puck displays enough out of the box for me. Best message Tesery if it doens look right as well.

Na this is just the generic (not labeled as RHD) kit. Works but the tilt can be better I guess. The only thing I have that is RHD specific is the tilt screen.

@@kelvindownunder I've read that some kits are angled weirdly when put on the right hand side. How do you find the viewing angle of this one?

Yes. If I connect the type c it is working fine. Also tried another car mount it is working. Just the tita mount is not working 😅

I actually left it as incorrect. But when I emailed Tesery they have sent me instructions for new firmware which I haven’t got a chance to do yey

I haven’t updated mine yet but the puck itself has a usb plug to it.

So far it has released updates online to match it when needed. So patches the same way.

Yeah i messaged Tesery and they said there’s an updated software but haven’t told me where. I shall follow up again!

@@92Deathwolf Well it took like 30 mails with tesery and in the end I was able to fix it, you have to get 2 update files, one for the receiver that goes into the car and another one for the display itself, update both and then everything works properly. Quite tricky stuff, I think to update the display, it has to be away from the receiver, and to update the receiver, you were supposed to hold the right scroll for some time.. dont remember very well.

Great question. No it does not. I have ceramic coating as well don’t worry. The coat doesn’t get rubbed off that easily.

It’s mounted on the column so comes in and out together but for me it stayed good as my wife and I changes setting and both felt it’s working well

No but I can take one to show you if interested. However Tlyard still has not released these buttons yet is my understanding.

Please buyer beware. The quality of the products sold by Tlyard is poor and the after sale service is just as bad. There are plenty of reputable US-based suppliers that sell Tesla accessories so stay away from this one
