Introduction to the SEEMS Nutrition Guidance Document
The Strengthening Economic Evaluation for Multisectoral Strategies for Nutrition (SEEMS-Nutrition) consortium has developed a common approach to conduct costing studies that is integrated with program impact evaluations for multisector nutrition programs.
The common approach aims to strengthen the design and implementation of economic evaluations, with a focus on context-specific operational plans, or study protocols. It utilizes a comprehensive and fully customizable set of cost data collection tools for estimating financial and economic costs.
This video introduces the SEEMS-Nutrition guidance document which is a how-to guide on the common approach that can be applied by practitioners, field researchers, evaluators and implementors.

Agreed. It's a nice feel-good sales pitch that might get funders on side, but it's really apolitical. In reality, social accountability initiatives are inherently deeply political, complex, and at their core, should aim to shift power imbalances between marginalised citizens, local service staff, and authorities at multiple levels of government.
