Hi, I guess there are only 2 companies which provide this kit one is from Automate India and other one is from City clutch . I had a call with Automate India and the said their kit is dependent on rpm and City clutch kit is based on speed. as per Automate india their kit is superior than city clutch. do you have any opinion on this? ⚠ 🛑 Customer Beware! Avoid City Clutch Product! ⚠🛑 I bought the City Clutch from Gandhinagar in November 2024 for around INR 50K-55K, which was reasonable if it delivered on its promises. Unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing due to poor management and misleading information about the product’s capabilities. 😤 The City Clutch management team initially assured me the product would provide basic hill assist support also (of course with no rollback) even for CNG and petrol cars. However, this has not been the case. The car rolls back even on slight upward slopes on regular roads (forget about driving on hills and ghat), posing a significant safety risk. You can not drive CNG car without handbrake in city flyover or normal roads also after installing city clutch kit. Misleading claims and inconsistent communication have made this purchase extremely frustrating. Safety should never be compromised for the sake of selling a product. Had a really disappointing experience with City Clutch due to mismanagement, misinformation, and product limitations. Here are the major issues I faced: 1. Not effective on normal slopes or flyovers-your car will roll back, putting you at risk of an accident! Using the handbrake for a basic slope isn’t practical, yet the technical team and owner may even blame you, saying it’s a driving issue. 2. Extra charges for a GST invoice for a product - unexpected and unfair. Unethical way of business! 3. The product marketed as universal but later informed it’s mainly for people with specific needs, not regular drivers. 4. Misleading info: They’ll later claim it’s not suited for CNG or petrol vehicles due to torque issues, despite knowing my vehicle’s details upfront. 5. Poor support: Installation and future help depend solely on their limited management, with no local support available. 6. Low social media presence-no recent posts or timeline updates on Instagram, Facebook, UA-cam, or Twitter, which raises doubts about their confidence in product quality and service. This experience has left me disappointed and frustrated. I hope this helps others make an informed decision before purchasing. 🛑I got a partial refund after multiple pleading/messages and phone calls.
