Bburago has good value for money for 1:18 scale, for 1:43 scale the “signature” series is to be preferred. I really like the Spark and Minichamps model cars.

Clearly if you compare them with Spark and Minichamp you can see the difference in construction but, of course, also in the price which is significantly higher. @@diecastandcars you are so right. I never thought that I would ever compliment, let alone recommend a Bburago of any scale. While I will always take a Spark or Mini Champs, if neither has a model that I want, the Bburago of today will do.

The e-type and the B24 spider are among the most beautiful spiders ever built; the cars have reached exorbitant prices; let us console ourselves with model cars 😉

You touched on a very delicate and important issue: the costs that classic cars are reaching. While it is understandable that such rare cars can be so expensive, it is much less justified for others that are 'classic' but have been produced in greater numbers and are often not preserved in very good condition. With more reasonable costs, the passion for classic cars could spread more and perhaps even among young people.
